I'm Calling It.

With less than a few hours left before Towers of Midnight comes out, I thought it would be fun to put down for the record some thoughts that have been bouncing around in my head.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if others have come up with some of the same ideas (if not all of them) so I'm not writing these to claim credit. This is just my favorite kind of speculation to engage in, and I'd love to hear what others have come up with. AND I know that a lot of these calls will probably never be explained or verified.

 

1. Tuon/Fortuona is Eldrene reborn.

 

2. Logain will be the one to take out Taim, and it's gonna be f@#$in' awesome.

 

3. Alternately, Logain will fulfill Min's prophecy of glory, but by fighting for the Shadow (really hope this one doesn't come true).

 

4. Our first firsthand view of the process/rite of becoming Forsaken will be seen through a Taim POV.

 

5. Suian and Leanne are going to be severed and healed again--this time by a man so they can get their full strength back.

 

6. Fortuona's humbling will involve her wearing an a'dam.

 

7. Thom is going to die in The Rescue Attempt.

 

8. At the end of Tarmon Gai'don, the entire world will be turned into a stedding, and an age without channeling will have begun.

 

9. The Horn of Valere will be blown after Rand's death, and he will return as one of the Heroes of the Horn.

 

10. Under Rand/Lew's guidance, Elayne is going to construct all manner of weapons from the AoL.

 

11. Someone's finally going to think of opening a gateway into deep space right above an enemy army and suck them all off the face of the Earth.

 

12. Elan Morin is going to assure a Dark victory by getting balefired because of asking to be balefired, and the universe will explode into nothingness as a result of the paradox.

 

13. Trollocs taste like chicken.
