Just finished watching Willow ( a classic fantasy film ) still just as good as i remembered. Probably won't be everyone's cup of tea but i think its a great sunday afternoon film. Any fan's out there?

One of my favorites as a kid! Loved the story. I remember using lines from the movie all the time. "Out of the way peck" was a go to whenever my little sister was around. Funny you brought this up because I watched three other classic fantasy films this weekend and found myself thinking of Willow. My 2.5 year old daughter loves The Neverending Story and we watched Labyrinth too. My wife and I sat down and watched Legend late last week. Thought about breaking out The Dark Crystal too. Must of watched it a thousand times when I was a kid.

Ah! The Neverending Story, another classic. You've got to admit Val Kimer is great as Mad Mordigan, keep your daughter off Black Root or she'll get a hairy chest . Labryinth was a favourite for me and my brother when we were younger. Hopefully The Wheel of Time Film's will become classic's

Willow was the first DVD I ever bought.

 

I then bought Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal.

 

I still need to get Neverending Story and Legend.

Pans Labyrinth is another good one. It's not a classic(maybe it will be) and should not be watched by children(some gruesome scenes and language), plus it is subtitled due to the dialog being in spanish but it is a cool fantasy film.

Oh, Dark Crystal, that movie was awesome. I bought the super special edition DVD. It had some deleted scenes and some scenes without actors recording over Jim Henson and Frank Oz. Those didn't need actor redubs.
