I spent some time undercover but was exposed by someone in the company of an old friend. Luckily for the world, that old friend is now dead.

 

I'm quite the saint, or atleast trying to be.

 

My position has become somewhat unresolved due to the deaths of others present during my old friend's death even though I was not there. Also, although the deceased were important to me, I cannot wear black in mourning.

 

The color of my clothing has not changed in months, and I am partially responsible for saving the entire world from certain death.

Two very major hints right there. In fact, I think I would be able to figure it out using only these two were I guessing.

well, a male that can channel that's never been seen and has 'more dialogue than Demandred'. I assumed it was the voice and not actual Lews Therin from EotW's Prologue. (since the voice isn't really Lews Therin?)

 

As for Hadilmir's I am totally stumped. Every person I can come up with that meets some of the clues is ruled out by a different clue. I'm really looking forward to finding out the answer, actually.

holy crap, it's Zarya Alkaese (aka: Garenia Rosoinde) of the Kin.

one of only 2 novices (probably) to have never met Egwene

Exposed by Adeleas in the company of Careane (her murderer) as a runaway and put into Novice White. Careane was later killed by Vandene.

Participated in the use of the Bowl of the Winds, and later fled the Seanchan from the Kin's 'farm'

 

 

you had me futilely thinking of Whitecloaks, Gai'shain, and Salidar and Tower Novices, and I forgot about those two. (lousy Elayne chapters...)
