What will Moraine's role be now?

Before and while reading "The Gathering Storm" I was so convinced that Moraine's role would be to help Rand become more soft and that she would be the only one who could break through that icy wall he was putting up with everyone else. But book 12 just ended with Rand laughing and it looks like he's given up on being hard and cold. What do you think Moraines role will be when she comes back? :)

Being awesome. Plus she will has to be there for Rand to win ala Mins viewing. I think she has learnt something vital from the Green Man, or in finnland. Also she has to marry Thom.

She will force Alanna to pass Rands Warder bond on to Moiraine herself, and then school her thoughts so that Rands dark moods dont rot the last of the food that can be found.

Monica Lewinsky to Rand's President Clinton?  (Oh, right, that brings disaster.)  I think Moiraine is going to emerge more powerful.  Perhaps she will be clad in white, with a silver belt and silver tooled boots.  I always got a Merlin/Gandalf vibe from Moiraine.  She fought with her demon and apparently "died", so me thinks she will return stronger.  Maybe even strong enough to be included in the Callandor link.  And, of course, she will be a trusted Aes Sedai.  Rand trusts Moiraine implicitly, especially after her sacrifice.  Although, granted, it did take that sacrifice for Rand to realize he trusted her.

Moraine will be the one who makes rand realize that he does need the help of the AS and she will also be the one to throw egwene off her high horse  and tell her that AS arent anything, that by turning their backs on the world and retreating within the tower, only emerging to screw with world politics have destroyed the AS's functionality and purpose and that they must pay for that by serving the light under the Dragon Reborn

Moiraine will serve many purposes. In VoG, Rand found the reason to fight, he also dealt with the split personality (LTT and Rand), but he has not as yet dealt with his guilt. His long littany starts with Moiraine. Seeing her alive may help start the "healing" process in dealing with his guilt for the women that have died. 

 

This is one purpose Moiraine will serve another. That I believe is knowledge. In TGH she said that she was more dangerous than she had been and we discovered that she could use balefire. Then she went through the gate to Finnland. What were the questions she asked and what answers did she receive? Then she went back to Finnland and has been stuck there. She has knowlege that she must share. Possibly the thing that will help Min/Rand solve the puzzle of "the real battle that is fought between the Dragon and the Father of Lies".  Moridin has said in a pat book (can't remember which one) that the true battle is not the one fought on the battle field.

 

So I believe Moiraine will help Rand puzzle that out.
