I think there is a huge difference between being beaten/humiliated and simply being naked. Moiraine and the Wise Ones were naked in the sweat tents, and on their way in to Rhuidean, but that's not the same as being humiliated.

 

I agree about the nakedness, and we do know that even if off screen, all the wise ones went naked into Rhuidean.

Though, I assume all the Wise Ones went through some humiliation during their training, and most of them likely got beaten, even if being beaten for an Aiel is really no biggie.

 

Going by that idea of nakedness, I would say Moiraine has never been beaten, stripped, or humiliated. Only naked (of her own choice) for Rhuidean.

 

I don't think anything ever happened to Setalle Anan or Aludra.

As a prisoner of the 'Finn, I'd imagine Moiraine has been potentially (since we really don't know for sure) 'humiliated'.  Plus if memory serves, these were the 'Finn who wear people skins (the foxy ones, I think; I can't remember), so somehow she avoided that fate...

Seriously, is there any primary or secondary female character who hasn't been paddled, spanked, embarrassingly naked or the like?

Seriously, I think you are missing the forest for the trees. Shame as a motivating force for good and physical punishment for the purpose of character building is common throughout the books, as it is (for example) throughout our armed forces... I think it might be better to look at each specific example of punishment/training/motivation/cruelty as the particular act that is, be the victim male or female, rather than trying to draw out a pattern of misogany by only looking at some of the facts.

To say nothing of " Nynaeve tugged on her braid" and "Egwene smoothed / straightened her skirts" and  "Loial marked his place in a wooden-bound book with a finger the size of a sausage."  I think that the series would wink out of existence minus those sentences.

I figure as much, but since it hasn't happened yet, at least not for us to know about, I didn't think it counted for this post. Though, yeah, I assume she's being beaten or something while off in Finnland.

I haven't read that yet *gasp*, but I assume she were also spanked as a novice, but it isn't really discussed. As for in the main series, I don't believe Moiraine has been tortured or anything like it yet.
