Didnt know if anyone posted anything about this but this is how the quote goes:

And it came to pass in those days, as it had come before and would come again, that the Dark lay heavy on the land and weighed down the hearts of men, and the green things failed, and hope died. And men cried out to the Creator, saying, O Light of the Heavens, Light of the World, let the Promised one be born of the mountain, according to the prophecies, as he was in ages past and will be in ages to come. Let the Prince of the Morning sing to the land that green things will grow and valleys give forth lambs. Let the arm of the Lord of the Dawn shelter us from the Dark, and the great sword of justice defend us. Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time.

Does this mean that Rand will discover the song? I think there are a couple more things in this one prophecy than I can see right now, let me know what you think

I think that was a comment from the 4th age? I'm not sure, I should reread that part.

I could be metaphorical-singing to the land as in being able to feel emotions again and caring for the people.

But it could just as well refer literally to the talent of seed-singing.

It certainly refers to the current situation

Dark lay heavy on the land and weighed down the hearts of men, and the green things failed, and hope died

...

oh, I wanted to concluded my argument, but then I realized that this is the general discussion and what I wanted to say is spoiler for the 12th book  :-[
