Mainly intended to be about main series (book 1 through book 14).

Most covers seem accurate to the scenes they depict; and their quality seems fairly good.

ugg, i gave them a 3. a couple of them were ok:EotW,tDR,PoD. i passed over this series for years because of the covers. i only started when a coworker said he wanted to be a writer because of these books that i picked up EotW and read the prologue in the store...the rest is history ;D

i have a softcover copy of aCoS which is just maroon with the snake/wheel symbol(i think)which is 1000% better than my hardcover version.

anyone else think rand's arm on the tGS is kinda off(the one in the air ;))

yeah, the three you mentioned are the only good ones. i think LoC and TGS are the worst by far, as in addition to the general criticisms, they have the worst art quality, imho.

 

i can totally see how reading the books (especially LoC and TGS) in public could be embarrassing. if i happened to see them at a book store, with no prior knowledge, i would get the impression that they were just some other low grade fantasy trash. luckily for me a good number of guys in high school were reading them, so i never thought about the covers much.
