The transition between Shadows rising and Fires of Heaven - Rhuidian

Anyone who got any thought on the last event that happened in shadows rising and the first chapters about Rand and the aiels camping in Rhuidian?

 

In the book it is said that Moraine and the wise ones and the clan leaders, see when Rand and Asmodeus, steps out of the "skimming" portal that he and Asmodeus has traveled by from Rhuidian. Im curious myself how Rand could explain something like that, bringing the gleeman that way and also im curious how they later went to Rhuidian and started living in the city until the shaido went over the dragonwall. How did the aiel clan chiefs/wise ones react to the city in havoc after a fight, the wardings gone etc :)

 

Anyone who got any thoughts? more people than moraine must suspect something about the fight in Rhuidian and Natel suddely sticking to Rand. Rand is after all just a chief among chiefs.

I don't really remember if he ever explained everything that happened in Rhuiden. But I thought that he was just sticking to the story that he is the dragon reborn and he'll need someone to compose his "greatness" or something along those lines.

Too bad RJ didn't write a scene of how Rand took the Aiel back to the Rhuaedien by asking the Wise Ones again using the clan chief form of request as oppose to a regular Aiel request. Remember the scene where Rand was supposed to use the clan chief form of request but ended up using Heirn's form of request at Cold Rocks?
