GM Spar question

This is more for the ladies i'm Sparing with but also just to clarify.

 

The GM spar, the challenger does not necessary have to win in order to complete the Requirement, correct? It is simply the act of engaging and completing a spar?

 

And if that is the case, Eqwina, Jaydena, do you wish to win? Or lose and learn from the experience?

 

(To note, Cairma lost to Brand... So I took it as a learning experience.)

Actually the object is to be humiliated.  To understand that even though you are one of the best you still have a lot to learn.

 

Grand Master spar- Character will be required to approach/be approached by the Grand Masters and/or Master of Arms for a spar. This will be done to teach the student humility and have them realize they are not nearly as accomplished as they thought they were. Fought with actual blades, not lathes. Minimum 5 posts.

 

And I'm pretty sure that Jade/Lyssa is doing the Blademaster Spar which is completely different from what Thera is doing.

 

BM should win but don't have to.  The idea is to be approved by the circle of blademasters that you are worthy to be called Blademaster.
