A WHEEL OF TIME COMMUNITY

Hi all

I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm 18 years old, from New Zealand and I'm in my last year of high school (so sorry for any grammatical errors). I started reading Eye Of The World at 13 and have continued up to book 9 so far. I have thoroughly enjoyed all books thus far and cannot wait to get the next ones in the series. I am happy to find a community that loves these books as much as I do and cannot wait to make some like minded friends here. I would also like to mention to Robert Jordan's family that he was/is an inspiration to me and that I wish you all well in the future.

Welcome to the madhouse, xhaern!  I think there's a couple of other New Zealanders floating around here, so maybe they'll take notice and say hello.

Anyways, explore the site well... lots of good places to hang out and neat things to do.  :)

There are the mafia games on the Games board: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php?board=119.0

There are also some amongst the frightening world of Fiddlesticks: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php?board=91.0

And the various ORGs have their own games as well, for example, the Band of the Red Hand has a music game: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,9358.0.html

Hope that helps. :)

I am not here to help.  I am the opposite of help.  I am the bringer of pizza and Chaos.  Well more pizza than chaos sounds scary and really I am not that scary.  Just when I have a little too much caffeine and decide to visit the newbie board.

So New Zealand eh.  The land of LOTR.  I know you are proud.  And you have rocks.  And...err... wait... I might be thinking of Scotland... it all blurs.  You even talk a little alike.  Except you say matey... or something.  And you put Shrimps on the Barbie... which I think means a grill and not that doll.  Or does that mean something more riskee that I am just putting together.

So...err... Welcome.

Lmao, ;D you have parts of that right. Yea, pretty proud of [glow=red,2,300]LOTR[/glow], we say mate not matey though and yea we say barbie as in a 'grill' - mouths the unfamiliar word - but, I don't know anyone that says 'put shrimps on the barbie'.

so err... thanks for the welcome?
