My Introduction

Greetings,

 

I recently became a member of Dragonmount, and this is the first time I have joined an online community like this. My name is Raipher, and I am 20 years old. I started reading the Wheel of Time about five months ago, and I'm currently a quarter of the way through the sixth book, Lord of Chaos. So far, I am very impressed with the series, and I have to say that my favorite character, up to this point, is Lan. I do realize that I should remain clear of the general discussions board until I finish all of the books, and in the meantime, I hope the explore the rest of what the site has to offer. At some point, I will probably attempt to join one of the role-playing groups. Well, that's all I have for now. Bye!

Hi Raipher, I'm Quisalas.  We have lots of options for you to enjoy role-playing, so don't hesitate to get involved and have lots of fun.  I'm relatively new to the books myself, I started reading them in February, after a friend kept talking about how much fun Dragonmount was and how much she enjoyed the series.

 

If you can juggle more than one character (I'd start slow, personally) you're welcome to join as many of the role-playing divisions as you'd like to.  If you have any questions or need any help, just ask!  :)

I do believe that some of the book discussion is structured by the books, so you can discuss those you have already read without spoiler alerts. They are usually a hotbed of activity and ideas, and well worth a look.

 

DM has a lot to offer, so do not hesitate to look at everything here. If you have any questions, just ask and we will help out as best as we can.
