Computers, DiDA, ICT...(Another HATE thread)

So, in this DiDA course we have to do..one second...

We need to use loads of different files-word documents, Microsoft Excel files...etc.

So I have my user area. Then, my DiDA folder. Then, my check it out project folder. (http://www1.edexcel.org.uk/dida-0906-d201/html/SPB201Index.htm)

So I have this folder with quite a few Word documents, image files, notapad..etc. I cannot find anything I need half the time; takes about 10 minutes to find some feedback on something.

I decided, today, I would sort out these files so I would at least have, the notepad one at the top, then databases, then excel files, word documents, then images at the bottom..so i sort them out, dragging them and dropping them so eventually I have them in sections. Took about 15-20 mins +.

Later on, I go back to my folder.

Guess what.

It put them back to alphabetical order.  >:(

hon go back to your folder, rigth click -> sort by -> type

 

it will then sort by document type like you want it ;) on 2-3 seconds

 

and yes you are allowed to scream at your computer now *nods* just do it so i dont have to listen ;)

Oh..it's that simple? Well they disabled right click at school..can't remember if I can right-click there or not..

there is others way to it then rigth click, if they disabled it then have them show you how to fix it *goes to test some in case i can find it*

 

but i feel for you my mom disabled rigthclick its a nightmare
