Why, back in my day, Comedy Central actually HAD comedians all day long.  It was like the MTV of old where all they had were videos of comedians doing stand-up.

which is really cool. much better than the crappy sketch com's they do now. mind of mencia? was good the first half of the first season. why? less crappy sketch com.

January was stand-up month?  Pah!  they meant to say we're going to play standup on fridays like we always do, and no more.  i too remember when noon was mad tv, 1-6 was standup.  eventually they're going to make a subsidiary called comedy central stand...kinda like mtv2.  they're just going to show standup all day every day for about a year and a half, then it too will play trash sketch com, and poor excuses for "comedic" movies.
