Fields...

Does anybody know, what is the difference between a field, a pasture and a meadow? Or are they all the same thing?

.. er i think they can all be used more or less interchangably  but a meadow is usually wild and  doesnt have to be encoled bey a fence or hedge but can be, a field is usually more of a farm thing and id say mostly for crops in is most usually enclosed by a fence hedge ect ..but is pretty all purpose, and pasture id say that was mostly for grazing animals on . though you can more or less use them for any grassy area ..though i am prone to being wrongs so dont take that all as given :)
