Siuan and Leane

I'm only up to CoS this re-read so please bear with me if this is resolved in book 11, which i've never read.

 

When Siuan and Leane were stilled, is it correct that they were released from the hold of the Three Oaths?

 

If they take the Three Oaths again... will they be able to maintain their ruse of animosity towards each other? Can you lie through behaviour (pretending to hate each other)?

 

If they make friends in the latter 2 books please forgive my ignorance.

Yes, they were released from the 3 oaths

 

As for lieing after they have retaken them again, i believe the oaths only count for spoken words. So as long as they do not speak about not liking each. And keep to snort or raised eye brow or nasty look, then they are not breaking any oaths. And be able to keep up the ruse

It is possible to think a lie, just not speak it.

The oath is worded as "speak no word that is untrue" or something like that, so yeah you could like with your body language and whatnot.

Great, thanks for that guys. Wow, that leaves quite a lot you CAN do, as 70% of communication is body language!!
