A gift for a soldier...

I hope someone can help me...Im looking for a very special gift for a dear friend about to go away on tour to Afghanistan. He is a HUGE Robert Jordan Fan!

I'm looking for something special to send with him, but I dont know what to do...any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

That looks like it could be an option. I was also thinking maybe a hard copy of Mr Jordans first novel hard cover. How and where might I find that? Wish I could somehow have it signed for him. Or maybe even a good luck from Mr.Jordan himself! (I understand he too has some military experiance)? Any idea how I might send a speedy note to Mr. Jordan?

Hi Mary-Jane, can't help you with any special WoT stuff, but if yor friend likes WoT, than he probably likes reading as a whole and especially fantasy books. You should take him on a shopping trip to the nearest book shop.

I agree. If you can get him a computer and accsess to this site, i bet he would fall in love. Just as everyone here has fallen in love with it.

 

Rober Jordan does special signing sessions every now and then. Though i dont think he will be doing one latleY. Since his sickness and all.
