Hair: Fair, sun touched brown hair that curls in soft waves down to her mid-back

Eyes: Tilted almond eyes, hazel in low light and golden blue in bright lights.

Skin: Warm beige, cinnamon when touched with the sun

Height: 5'4 (5'1 when arriving at the Tower)

Voice: Whispy, soft spoken, although her personality speaks otherwise

Knowledge Weakness: Basic Studies. Schooling was not a priority, nor

does she feel it should be. Subtlety.

:: History ::

 

Meri was born the youngest of 4 into a family of blue-bloods. Her

mother (Meryet) was a direct descendant of Queen Brenaile (400 Years

prior) Varash's half-brother, Marad, and Meri's family lived a life of

comfort and respect among their peers. Her father Tutan Makeda was an

accomplished warrior and breed horses of the highest bloodlines,

training them in equestrian sports and for war. Along with her

siblings Thoth (24), Tor (21) and Mandisa (21), Meri enjoyed the perks

of her station, clothing, education and best of all, Horses.

 

There was nothing Meri loved more than her fathers horses. Her horse,

Tau, was a male youngling of perfect breeding and gentle temperament

(An odd trait for such an animal) and he loved his mistress since the

day she saved him at birth, She fed him after the death of Tau's

mother, Best of Show - Bast. Training alongside her siblings, she also

competed in the various Equestrian shows, placing every time. Skipping

many studies, she would often find herself in trouble for being caught

in the barns, or watching the men practice their swords in the

Barracks of Maradon. One time when she was 12, she bet against a

trainee while avoiding her arithmetic class and was taught how to

achieve the void. But her poor ability to concentrate only caused her

frustration as she spent forever trying to achieve it.

 

Apart from avoiding her lessons, Meri had another secret. She loved to

dance, more specifically the Sa'sara. Being the youngest, she yearned

to stand out from them. Always seeking the spotlight regardless of how

she got there. Of course, this also included a variety of pranks and

other mischief-making. However, Meri had a difficulty of knowing when

to draw a line and found herself caught more times than not. She

started to pick fights, or trouble those older than her, careful only

to avoid the circles her siblings conversed with to avoid getting in

trouble from them as well. Over time this resulted in punishments, and

various perks removed, including being allowed to compete in her

shows, or any free time from her studies. But over all, Meri was still

an obedient child and well loved in her family, knowing that one day

she would grow out of her rebellious nature.

 

But, like all that are destined for the white dress of the Novice,

just before her 14th names day, barely a week turn away, her life

changed irrevocably.

 

 

 

:: To Be RP'd In Character ::

 

 

- Meri sneaks out for the day.

 

- Returns to find her parents quite ill.

 

- Death was swift, and he Aes Sedai there (not a yellow) finds Meri

with the ability to channel. (weak) (Will post for a PC Aes Sedai to

join at this point. :))

 

- They head to the Tower, Meri constantly attempt to get away, but is

brought back.

 

- Eventually arrives at the Tower.
