New Spring: Favorite Character Cameos

Rereading A New Spring, first reread since completing the Series, and I'm enjoying some of the brief appearances or mentions of certain character (e.g., Elyas).

 

What are your fave New Spring cameos? Why? Anybody you thought should've made an appearance, but didn't?

Elyas is definitely a good one, but to be honest I'm not remembering much beyond the basic arc of the book.  Will be reading again in the coming year - then I may or may not replace Elyas with someone else.

Impossible to pick just one! LoL ... New Spring is probably my favourite book, exactly because of all the myriad appearance by people we already "know".

Am I wrong, or does Lini make the briefest appearance as a young initiate at the Tower? 

 

Laras. Love her parts with Min, and was happy to see her in NS. 🙂
