[MUSIC] Chemical Brothers

I'm gonna get this music discussion show under the way! And I am going to start with a group I love - the Chemical Brothers.

And there is some great news! A new album shall be out sometime in the early summer! It's going to have a tough job of beating Push the Button, which I felt was their greatest album ever!

Here is one link to the news, and more can be found on their official website.

And European Tour dates have been announced! Look here for more information! Scroll down the news and you can find the dates!

It looks like there shall be a good start to the summer!

Good one to start out with Corki, I am only vaguely familiar with this duo, so I went to do a little research onYouTube of course and what do you know..... Whats old is new again!!

The very first video i found is this one

Let Forever Be

Which positively screams this one from 1966

Tomorrow Never Knows

This of course got me to looking and listening to the point this dang post took me about two hours to do.. I lke these guys. Surprisingly, really, because electronica has never been my thing for the most part ,even back to the pre-punk days of Can and Kraftwerk..

I don't know why but I've never been able to get into this kind of music, it just grates on my nerves. I can appreciate the technical aspects of it... and the video is fairly cool on that one Manny posted. To be honest its scary how like The Beatles song it is... and no, I don't like that either. I can't explain it, but listening to this would drive me up the wall.

Well, I did get badgered into this music by 2 of my best friends at Secondary School...but I am glad they did. To me, I find the music relaxing and chilling, and is rather pleasant to listen to in the background while you work.

It goes up and down, but I find it relaxing. The album Exit Planet Dust[/b] is their most chilled out and relaxing CD, whereas Push the Button is a lot more aggressive. But there again, I like chill out music, whether it instruments or electronical made. When I get back to London, I'm definitely going to have a Chemical Brothers day - sit back and relax as I listen to all their albums! :D
