Question for all the chosen:

As we have seen many times, there are limits to what the one power can do. Examples being, you cannot bring life back to the dead and you cannot use it to fly etc. (Obviously the great lord of the dark is beyond such restrictions).

As incredibly powerful channelers of the one power, if you could have just one added ability which saidin and saidar do not currently allow you, what would that be?

Silly child, Let me help you understand something... The One Power is an imperfect thing. It's power is insignificant beside the joy and power that Shai'tan has granted to His Chosen. The Power could not have healed Lews Therin of his madness! Yet, I and I alone, unlinked was able to do just that while weaving the True Source. Even conjuring the soul of Kari al'Thor is not forbidden me, as death is no barrier to those who the Dark One favors with his touch!

There is no ability, no desire that I have that is unmet by my unparalleled skill and power. All that I want and all that I desire is already at my fingertips or firmly grasped in the palm of my hand. Anyway, as to your question...I suppose if I had to choose anything it would be the ability to go shopping for new dresses or jockstraps at the mall without having 10 different annoying sales people come harass me. I mean, I can turn them all into mindless puddles of drool; but then who would ring me up at the cash register?

The power to make my 'colleagues' into people of taste and culture would be nice, but no amount of the One Power could ever do that. I think even the Great Lord Himself would have his work cut out for him.

Does anyone else think it's cute that Asmo is the one claiming WE need culture and taste? If the One Power could do anything, I think I'd wish that Asmo was actually a good musician so we didn't have to listen to the squeaks and squawks coming from his corner of the prison we were stuck in for so long. I think it's made me tone deaf.
