Since the Band of the Red Hand is DM's very own Music ORG, it is important that regular and interesting music discussions are available for both Banders and DMers alike. Therefore, with the move to new boards, there has been a sudden increase in the number of music orientated threads which are open to you to join in, and I hope you take up this offer. Now, I will give a quick rundown on what is being hotly talked about in the Band at the moment!

July's Artist of the Month

Every month, the Band picks an artist to be our Artist of the Month. Banders can champion anyone they like, and the winner of the poll gets to lead the discussion here at DM. The winner of July's poll was David Bowie, championed by BridMorgan, and you see can see the discussion here. Since July is coming to an end soon, look out for August's Artist of the Month coming to DM.

Reposted Topics

During the move, the Band did lose a few hot topics. However, I have reposted two of these topics, and the debate can restart, either taking a similar course as before, or a totally new one. These topics are:

- Worst Lyrics Ever - Do You Agree?? --> following an article I found in a paper and online, it is time to see if we agree with the chosen lyrics

- Favourite Songs to Hum/Whistle etc along to --> so you a song comes onto the radio, and you hum along to it. But what songs are they? Come and tell us!

The topic Music Videos/Songs that we come to love and hate has risen from the dead since the move, so keep it alive by posting your own favourites or disliked music videos!

TV Theme Tunes & Film Music

Everyone loves films and programmes on TV. But the music tends to get forgotten. But not here! In two seperate discussions, the Band are discussing what music from the world of Films and TV we love.
