WoT-themed Convention to be held in 2009

Guest Jason

The following press release was sent out to a number of Wheel of Time fan sites this week. It concerns the formation of a brand new fan convention called "JordanCon" which will be held in April 0f 2009.

The masterminds behind this affair are none other than Dragonmount's own Jennifer and Jimmy Liang who also run the Wheel of Time fan track at DragonCon every year.

We are pleased to announce the formation of Age of Legends, LLC, a company dedicated to promoting the Wheel of Time fandom at conventions and events around the world.

Our centerpiece event will be JordanCon, a three-day convention devoted exclusively to Robert Jordan fan programming. JordanCon will take place in April, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. We intend for JordanCon to become an annual event with several hundred Robert Jordan fans in attendance.

Age of Legends, LLC will have an information table at Chattacon 33 in Chattanooga, TN. Chattacon will be held January 25-27, 2008 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel and resort.

Age of Legends, LLC has seven years of convention experience and nearly ten years of experience in the Wheel of Time fandom. Our executive staff has been responsible for the Wheel of Time programming track at Dragon*Con, the largest popular arts convention in North America, since 2000.
