Today is Robert Jordan's brithday! Happy Birthday to the Creator of this world we all know and love.
Here's to many more celebrations of life and good health!
Happy Birthday, RJ!
It was six years ago today that Dragonmount.com opened up to the public. Although it wasn't exactly pretty back then, the website grew very quickly. We've made it this far, and have done pretty well for the most part. Recently we were described as "the site that launched a thousand ships."
One of our birthday traditions is to open up the DM Birthday board, where you can go share your memories of DM. Even if you're new to the site, swing by and tell us how you're experience has been. In ad
Today is Brandon Sanderson's birthday. He's 33, today. (Such a young guy!) What a year he has had! Be sure to drop by his website and wish him a Happy Birthday.
Or..um.. rather, a "Happy Koloss Head Munching Day", as he likes to refer to it.
After many months of working with many people we are proud to present Robert Jordan with this collection of Get Well Wishes.
Get Well Robert Jordan
I would like to appologize for the timing of this project, we had some very unexpected delays but I hope that the collection was worth the wait.
A personal thanks to the designers and contributers to this project. It's been a pleasure working with you and I hope we can do so again.
Mr. Jordan, we the community of Dragonmount wish
I am going to be attempting to put together an online "Get Well" Talent display for all members of Dragonmount. Anyone is welcome to participate, talented in your opinion or not, it's the thought that counts.
The idea is to create a webpage (several to be exact) that is dedicated to telling and showing RJ how much his world means to us and that we wish him well in his treatment and recovery periods.
If you write poetry feel free to submit something.
If you make graphics feel free to

First off, why are you reading this when you could be reading your new copy of ToM?
Second, thanks for reading this!
Third, this post will be updated on occasion as more TGs send me their reports. For now, you get to read my report (jemron) of the Event! Be warned: IT IS LONG! Like Loial, I don’t know the meaning of the word “brief.”
Fourth, I’m still a bit bleary-eyed from the release party, and it was a day and a half ago. Some of the details are crisp in my mind, and some are
A few months back I made some changes in an attempt to eliminate spammers and for a while it seemed to work.
They're now back with a vengeance.
For this reason, we've enacted a new technical policy. Posting links on the forum has been disabled for anyone with less than 15 posts. This is something that should happen automatically and won't require any changes on behalf of the users. Once you've posted 15 times or more, you will gain the ability to post links.

I, once again, am going to attempt to address the rising amount of spam on the DM forums.
Tonight I will be locking the forums to prevent changes while I am working. The process is going to be fairly involved, and will require about an hour to complete. When the forums come back online, there will be a few small things that people will see different, but there will be a whole slew of tool that the Administrators will have to deal with spam. Some of the "behind the scenes" changes will also m

Robert Jordan was the Guest of Honor for Dragon*Con 2005, which was recently held in Atlanta, Georgia. For the last five years I have had the honor of serving as the Director of Wheel of Time programming at this convention. Though Robert Jordan was a guest of the convention in 1996, this is the first time he has attended while I’ve been associated with it. We also had cover artist Darrell K. Sweet, Teresa Patterson, co-author of the Guide, and Les and Ernst Dabel, producers of the New Spring gra
Okay, I've been playing with this for a little while, testing and retesting.
I've brought the FAQ down for the next 20 minutes or so. When it comes back up, it will actually work!
All of the content of the FAQ will still be there when it returns, but some stuff, such as page views, may be gone.
Updates when it returns.
[update: The FAQ is back up, and should now be working. Thanks for your patience.]
