Dragonpage, a popular fantasy-based podcast, had an opportunity to do an audio interview with Robert Jordan. It's pretty interesting, and an enjoyable program to listen to. Beware of KoD spoilers though! RJ comes right out and blatantly gives away several plot points.
One interesting tidbit is about how RJ is considering writing a non-WOT short story for a fantasy anthology.

Another report came in from Robert MacCloud who briefly said that another customer asked Robert Jordan about his time in Saudi Arabia. Turns out that the person had mistaken him for Robert Jordan, the US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia who had been appointed by President Bush!

Knife of Dreams is currently the #1 best-selling book in the United States. The report came from Tor today that the NEW YORK TIMES reported KoD as being at the top of their list. Some more details :
Most of the books in the WoT series have been gone #1 on the list when they came out.
It is expected that KoD will be #1 on the London Times as well, but that's still speculation on our part.

Robert Jordan sent a copy of his tour schedule directly to a few fan websites. All of these dates are confirmed. The only one up in the air is the signing in Anchorage, Alaska. That will happen next June (yes, June 2006) during the fishing season. Hey, it's RJ. What do you expect?

Introduction
Well once again, here we are, waiting for the new Robert Jordan book to come out. I think it would be an understatement to say that anticipation amongst fans for Knife of Dreams is really high, and a lot of people are still grumbling after Crossroads of Twilight. Before I get into Knife of Dreams, though, I should remind you that a lot of you didn't agree with my review of Crossroad
If you are like most fans, you probably don't remember every tiny detail of the Wheel of Time series. For that reason, we've published a downloadable document that should bring you up to speed with where everyone is at in the story.
It's designed to remind you of where the story left off at as of the end of Crossroads of Twilight. The document is a PDF file and should print up nicely for you, in case you want to have it handy when reading Knife of Dreams.

On Monday, December 12th, Dragonmount will launch a 13 day event called The 13 days of Christmas. Each day we'll release a little something special to help celebrate the holidays. What that "something" is will have to wait until Monday. You can RAFO. :)
Robert Jordan does have a hand in this feature, and this will be the exclusive location to get the content.
But please... don't expect TOO much. We won't be releasing early chapters from Book 12 or anything like that.

News from . Winter's Heart is available in unabridged format from audible.com, however A Crown of Swords and The Path of Daggers are only available in abridged format read by Mark Rolston.
The orginal unabridged versions of A Crown of Swords and The Path of Daggers published by Books on Tape occasionally show up on the secondary market but they are uncommon and expensive. We'll update you whenever we learn more!
