Simon and Schuster Online has released Embers falling on Dry Grass, the full text of the Knife of Dreams prologue. It is available for online purchase at a number of online retailers. The base price is $3.50, but some online stores are offering it for less.
A small portion of the prologue is already available for free from Tor Books. But the entire prologue (141 pages) will be available in full as part of this ebook. The prologue will, of course, also be included in the full length novel
Robert Jordan had a solo panel session last Friday at Comic*Con in San Diego. He gave his standard preamble for about fifteen minutes then answered questions from fans for over an hour. Here are some highlights:
Book 12 will be the end. He will finish the story in one more book even if it takes 1500 pages hardcover.

The 2005 ComicCon convention is in full swing today, and Robert Jordan is expected to start making appearances tomorrow. In the meantime, Red Eagle Entertainment has announced the official release of the NEW SPRING graphic novel. Here's the full press release.

Issue #1 of The Wheel of Time: New Spring is scheduled to go on sale the third week of July. The comic is produced by Dabel Brothers Production and published by Red Eagle Entertainment. The following issues will come out on a monthly basis, Issue #2 in August and Issue #3 in September.
