Actually she never mentions the sigil, just that he has a right to the title of Lord:
"The title is his by birth," Cadsuane said without looking up from her embroidery. She would know; she had helped capture him backwhen he was calling himself the Dragon Reborn, him and Taim both. Her hair ornaments bobbed as she nodded to herself. "Phaw! Aminor lordling with a scrap of land in the mountains, most of it all but straight up and down. But King Johanin and the Crown HighCouncil stripped him of his lands and title after he became a false Dragon."Knife of Dreams - Chapter 18: News for the Dragon

A slight thought to add to this, the first thing that came to mind when I pictured Logain hearing voices was the same mad ramblings poor Rand was subject to. This may not be the case however.
Rand heard the voice of Lewis Theron at the end of his life, when the Backlash had driven him completely and utterly insane, but Amalasan wouldn't have been nearly as mad at the time of his own death. So the voices Logain would hear may not be the maddened lunatic style we've grown to love and hate, but rather the sane(ish) musings from a man who shook the foundations of the world. Just changes the perspective a bit...

And so my WoT reading schedule is once again interrupted by an irresistible summons from the Mistborn franchise... Who else won't be getting any sleep tonight?
-
Randland the magazine? I'd subscribe to that, produce it!
-
We need about 3,000 people to vote Perrin ASAP or he'll loose! We all know that the wolves would smell Perrin and sense him through their link rather then turning on them, prove these people wrong!
-
I've seen the Asmodean one before, still makes me at least grin every time I see it. Thanks btw, I needed a chuckle after this last week

@DWhittaker
Yes! This is exactly what I have been telling my small circle whenever we talk about the upcoming movie. If the budget would be too small for quality studio props, make it an Anime and all is solved. Make the movie as well to be sure, but a side production of an Anime would be epic...

Love this, it gives a glimpse I've never had of the Japanese WoT! Keep the fan art flowing!
-
Ah! The dilemma! I positively love the designs, but I can't stand to wear tee-shirts... Perhaps as an enviable gift for a friend ...
-
Just Bloody love them, another great addition to my WoT collection brought by Fan Art Friday. Especially loved the last scene of the Stages of Rand one ... My little WoT group is going to get a kick out of the WoT pod... All around kudos to RoseMuse and all the other wonderful WoT artists who are doing that which I can only envy.
-
Wonderful! I hadn't seen the portrait of Bryn before, now I can show my doubting friends a better picture then the dubious one in the BWBwBA.
-
Love the fan art idea, even added a couple new ones to my slideshow folder so keep it up, eh? Last one... Just lol, that's all that CAN be said...
-
Bloody perfect, that's all I can say... It's all there, the fire, the flying chunks of metal, the memories of Hopper (I will not cry, I will not cry...), the dark (yes, if memory serves this was at night) and the inherent confusion of the scene.
These covers just keep getting better and better... I almost shudder to think of what AMoL will look like...

Oh... So THAT'S what I have... Somewhere I missed the official diagnosis... And before you ask, yes I would like to talk about it.
Seriously though, thanks, I needed that and will most definitely point it out to those few whom I have, literally, infected with/converted to tWoT.
As usual you Tower Guards submit a wonderful and nostalgic report that only makes me burn with more envy over not being similarly selected, while simultaneously making me more aware that I probably wasn't entirely qualified to do as well a job as you anyway... Is this how one is turned to the Shadow?
@jemron Agreed, though I did spot myself in one of our midnight ones...
-
I return from my 48 hours of seclusion and, this seeming the best spot, would like to personally thank all of you lucky Tower Guards (and of course Sanderson, the store workers, Tor, helpers, etc. etc...)for a truly wonderful night. That was the first real WoT event I've had a chance to attend, and I do not in the lease regret it, or the sleepless next day, in any way manner or form.
Thank you
Suravye ninto manshima taishite, hei...

Epic! This will definitely give my group an extra chuckle before we set off for the semi-long drive to Provo tonight... I would like to note that this is the VERY first campaign add or campaign add mock-up that I have truly liked. My vote shall, of course, go to the Empress (may she live forever!).
-
And it's things like this that make the WoT community so wonderful. Thank you for caring for us so.
-
Ah, thanks much Luckers, I needed a good chuckle today. And another prod to stoke my anticipation never hurts. As for Hoid... I never thought of him (as I admittedly only just finished reading WoK last night [or maybe it was this morning by then?] having saved it for a good birthday present to myself), but this I could see...
-
Oh well, I congradulate all the lucky fans who where selected, may the Light illumine you and your vaunted task, and begin anew my anticipatory waiting routine aimed now at the event itself ...
-
Well, at least that settles the internal battle between my anti-social tendencies and the intense desire to serve... Heartfelt congrats to all who won, and I'll see some of you at the Provo signing .
-
Have patience and calm down, your anxiety will not make it happen any faster. Or at least that's what I've been telling myself about every waking hour since the 8th, each time I check back here for updates ...

"The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills" indeed... Perfection, absolute perfection in every way.

Hmm.. Mayhap something pertaining to the Dragon or the light... Children of the Dragon? Friends of the Light? Deserves more thought, particularly after we see where things stand (or sit as the case may be) after tToM.
-
Mayhap, but having Kate Reading do the voice fits much better IMO. Just as Michael Kramer is the voice for Rand, Kate Reading has always been the voice for Moiraine to me.

We have reached the end of this long journey, and I can quite happily and honestly say that Brandon was the best choice to guide us down this final stretch. Though I greatly lament the death of RJ, I am comforted that through it such a wonderful artist was revealed, and perhaps even honed, to take us upon a new journey. Thank you Brandon, for all that you have done and continue to do.
