I'd believe it. It's better than anything I have come up with.

once you cut hundreds of pages of perrin brooding in his own mind about not being a lord and being afraid of losing control, you have to get something else to convey the same conflict.
hence the dead wife. does a similar job, and only takes up 5 minutes of screen time.
I disagree. I think that just means that they are cutting things that they shouldn't be cutting and making unnecessary changes. If I enjoyed that sort of thing I would read fanfiction.
Characters should have a purpose. It is bad writing to create a character who has emotional value to a main character only to kill them off. And as much as I hate reducing everything to tropes, killing off the blank wife is lame.

My last post before tonight was like 2013 or something. I wouldn't count on it ?

This has been bothering me for 15+ years and I am finally asking it. The Heroes of the Horn all are known by the name that their thread was bonded to the horn, Brigitte, Gaidal Cain, Artur Hawkwing, etc. Then they have different names when they are spun out into the world. However Hawkwing calls Rand Lews Therin. Does this mean that Lews Therin is the original name of the Dragon? I had kind of always just assumed that it was his birth name in his previous reincarnation.

I strongly dislike it, but can see why people like it. I will not be continuing past episode 3, I'd spend the whole time looking for changes and it would make me sad. Pretty much all the changes were unnecessary. Why does Perrin have a wife? Why are there 5 Ta'veren? The Dragon is male. He can touch Saidin. Why is Perrin the only one of the 3 boys who resembles his book counterpart?
Mat's father being an abusive drunk is such a pitiful attempt at unnecessary character development that I thought I had the misfortune of tuning into the CW. I very much do not like when tv shows deviate from stories because the showrunners think they know better than the source. Obviously some things need to be cut and changed but that doesn't mean that you need to create new arcs when you already need to cut so much.

So after going mia for about a year, I probably should have answered the question about what I used. I cant remember the last one...
Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit into Sightblinder's eye on the Last Day.

thanks. really appreciate it.

I want to put a WoT quote in my yearbook, but I dont have the books and it is due in an hour. any help?

Pg 493 bad is supposed to be had. its on the last page of a chapter with only 5 or 6 lines.

I thought that the Eye of the World was meant to be used by the Dragon as another sign of who he was. And to protect one of the most valuable treasures of the Light: the Horn of Valere.

The bore is everywhere. However it can be most easily felt at Shayol Ghul, where the pattern thins. I believe that was where the bore was originally drilled from.

the fact that they would purposely change prophecies, that would change the world astounds me. If they did that there is no way they or any of their ancestors have any credibility in my eyes. Pretty much so they feel good about themselves.

Why dident Moridin show up to the cleansing? If he did I bet the Chosen would have won.

whose seen the ebook cover of book 7. Avi does not live up to my expectations. I first thought she was Elayne, who is a redhead in the picture. Avi would be great if she didn't like knives to much.
I assume you mean Book 8, right? And yes, I agree that Aviendha did not look on there like I envisioned her. Elayne seemed a bit off for me as well.
While we're on the subject though, Moiraine looked smoking in the ebook cover of Book 5! ROWRRRRR
ya sorry.
The e-book covers show the characters like they really are. Anyway, I will still refer to avi as the tall redhead, and Elayne as the strawberry blond, even though it is supposedly the other way around. There is no way that Elayne is taller than Avi

best thread ever. anyway, if a thirteen year old got through it, they would have already gotten the idea, unless they were missing part of their brain.

what is 1+1?
im just spamming cuz im a bored nerd.
-
why cant everyone be blue or something, it would make life so much easier.
-
Well im just digging this out of someother threads that i have been reading, so these are not my ideas.
Some people believe that Taim may have been upgraded to status of Chosen by the DO. If he was someone would have given him a crash course in history so he could learn a little more about what he was dealing with.
Others that he is Demandred's pawn, and Demandred may have taught him some history.
He would have heard if he was trying hard enough to find out the history of the Aiel, that they followed the Way of the Leaf before they became Aiel and it is his own thought that is coincedentially the same as many of hte Chosen's.

I think ignoring the heat is just something that all channelers can learn, but it doesnot have anything to do with strength in the Power.
I dont know about the first one, do you have to situation Taim does it?
-
so if the proohacies are never to be fulfilled how will Rand be able to win? Hence this proves that the DO wins in the end!!!!!!!

im gona go with we dont know if galad can channel, against what i said two months ago. we have no way of knowing, because no one has ever tested him. i dont think genes have anything to do with this, souls are what matters.
do u have to learn the flame and the void/ oneness as lanfear calls it to be able to channel saiden?
-
it is amusing, the hear what Mat thinks, also when Elayne finds out, But sick definately sick hes 20 shes 45?
-
it seems to me that he can channel, normally when in the void, you are one with only a few number of objects, and can feel them. But Galad can feel many more than a small number of objects, including ones that a person in intense consentration would not notice. Also Rand first channeled at an hour of great need for him, when Egwene was going to be left behind because Bela was not strong enough, Galad could channel at one of the same important times

she had to know, but i doubt that she would have given up the oppurtunity to have 2 more taveren in her grasp
How did the show hold up for you?

I originally stopped a few episodes in but I had the misfortune of visiting relatives for Christmas, so I watched the rest of it. Tarwin’s gap was possibly the worst interpretation of a piece of literature that I have ever seen. I am very disappointed.
