Ah the last paragraph is answering Andy who used the term Godfather while meaning mafioso and Dice was correcting her. Or follow the quote and you'll see the context better.
-
You thinking of this? Ignore the first quote. Searching for godfather in last week only turns up these and you (Turin) saying something about expecting the Godfather to vote wolf for extra protection. Also looking at this both Cairos and Mills make a comment about Dice's mafia genius at the very beginning of the game, though to be fair Cairos was referring to the ability to multi quote. Why are you all so suspicious? Scratching head.
-
Dice's not liking how the votes are stacking up on Cairos but not changing his vote but agitating Turin and Z to find other theories is totally consistent with being mafia. Not sure it is inconsistent with being town though.
-
So 436 posts with follow up posts saying lolololololol is OK but something that adds to the literary richness of the English language is not ok? 100% Wolf behaviour.

Bah. So new day, er night, and all that. Recap. Seems to me unlikely that all the wolves were on Cairos. That would make it too likely the hammer would fall early when maybe a townie could have been lynched. It's good to to look innocent, but it would be better to look innocent and get to day 2 with three wolves. Turin is an enigma. Zander starts the ball rolling with a vote. Andy looks sus as she immediately backs it up. Cairos, Mills and Don all look sus for backing up Turin suspicion without actually voting. So from this most people correctly coalesce on Cairos but me, Andy, Z and Turin are looking for another option, despite most of us saying Cairos is sus. I admit I got my read wrong on Cairos, I admit now his "you would say you weren't Mafia, Heavy" and mistake voting just seemed a bit rushed due to RL. Turin seemed to be ringleading Cairos suspicions, which seemed sus if Cairos was town. But he wasn't. But then why wasn't Turin following through? Why all the last minute angst? Surely on D1, none of us know anything and it is largely a stab in the dark. All this who will we tactically vote for seems to just obsfucate people's real thoughts. But presumably Dice would be saying we need to talk this through if he was a wolf or villager, otherwise it would be rather easy to tell when he was which. I mean this drives me mad. Town Heavy is making all these deductions (OK being generous there) but mafia Heavy could make exactly the same. The only difference is the wolves know who is who and they have a secret chat that could make them act in ways that doesn't follow from the main chat. Is Turin helping or manipulating? Is Z really just like this all the time? Does security follow him around the supermarket on a good day? Is Dice always this grumpy or is he trying to make himself hard to read? Are people pretending to like wrestling so we'll underestimate them assuming they are stupid? How far can we really trust the mild mannered quiet people munching popcorn at the back? Still think I'm the only town and you guys are all as sus as someone saying it wasn't me, honest guv. Huge markers have to go against Z and Turin for suspecting me, but I can imagine none of the rest of have quite the same motivation to think that. I mean the we are going to lynch you tomorrow, quite aside from how impolite that is, isn't helpful. If I get NKd then it cannot be them as they were going to lynch me. Unless that is what they are planning all along. Or Sooh will NK me so it looks like Zander is doing a double bluff to make himself look innocent. Or Turin is to make Sooh look like she was setting up Zander to look like he was using his unreasonable suspicion of me to make himself look innocent. Or Dice... Well you get the point. Me and when I was saying all the wolves couldn't have been on Cairos I was forgetting there are only two of them now. Still seems like at least one was voting for some else. *eyes Zander* No idea who that could be though. I hate this game. And also low key kind of like it.
-
Anyway I'm hitting the sack. Well done everyone. I felt pretty ill when the hammer came down. It seemed so sudden. It was actually a surprise that Cairos wasn't innocent. I was nearly hoping that he could swing the vote my way Though in hindsight, that would have been bad. So wait, your argument is Cairos is an idiot that messed up incriminating me and not deliberately running interference? Or making an honest mistake? Weak sauce dude. Though like Dice I did think Mills at first and not much has changed on that front. Except Turin and Z doing everything possible to look guilty.
-
You still pushing me Zander? Because the mafia accused me of being mafia? I must be missing the application of logic there. You and Turin could not be looking more wolfy if you were wagging your tails. But we'll see how every one else reacts. But the voters on Cairos look a bit more dependable. You two though. Hmpf. Doesn't help your pushing me for no reason than I'm vocal in trying to solve it. Doesn't look good on you even if you are town.
-
Wolf chat obviously told Cairos to switch votes. Who else was trying to get votes changed? Z, Turin and to a lesser extent Dice. Now Sooh could have been distancing herself from Cairos but in general looks to me like a Turin, Zander, Cairos wolf chat. But we'll see. My suspicions of the quiet people has been really torn given Cairos being mafia. But I did say Turin would look bad if Cairos was town... Bluff or double bluff? From Sooh or Turin? Or both? I hate this game, lol. So Cairos being town both incriminates and relieves the suspicion of everyone. Dagnamit.
-
So. Points for our quiet peeps. Looking sus for me, Andy, Z and Turin. And Turin and Z have wolfy mcwolf all leading up to votes. I really was doubting Cairos despite early suspicions.
-
This is awkward as it looks like Cairos or no one at the moment and I don't feel too happy with either.
-
I'm confident in my reasoning. But we are working on vapours of facts. And you and Turin are both acting so wolfy that it almost impossible to believe you are mafia. If it is the quiet people, one of us loudmouths is going to die tonight and I'm not sure that will make anything clearer.
-
And there is my confidence shattered in my deductions. Shucks. Still not buying it at this point. Lets face it, if the wolves are not you mouthy guys then it is probably Sooh, Gud and a plus one. How likely to be a mixture?
-
Because people are leaning towards town when people don't act like wolves. For a new player that seems to make sense. The distinction between prolly Town and Null at this point seems rather thin. From my pov at least.
-
Those are the quiet ones. Which is suspicious on one hand but also means apart from that there is not a lot to get suspicious about.
-
Turin, how could I convince you I am town? I'm suspicious of you and Zander who are acting as wolfy as wolves with doctorates from the University of Higher Wolfing. If that doesn't convince people that I'm town I'm out of arguments. Negotiating votes is sus. That removes responsibility for the votes and makes it some kind of group think.
-
That's OK. I use the little known application for things like that. It's called an Internet search engine. They are really cutting edge, not surprised you havent heard of them yet. When I flip town, it is going to make you and Zander look really sus. Which means the you are probably not wolves, don't know why you are both pushing this train.
-
Such a wolf. Don't buy this dropping of Cairos and jumping on me. Maybe I'm biased but not buying it at all. UNVOTE VOTE TURIN
-
I think everyone has been remarkably non-wolfy since the opening exchanges (that is Gud, Sooh, Cairos, Mills, Andy) except for the silent Don, the Zanderish Zander, and you (Turin) and Dice. Maybe be a use they have backed off whereas you guys have continued hounding suspicions. One thing to consider if someone flips town, what does that tell us? If Turin (you) flips town, that would implicate a few people. If Cairos flips town, there are a few that would look a bit shady. If Zander flipped town would I look bad? What would lynching Mills tell us? I'm kinda worn out now. Having suspicions of a townie does not make you mafia. We need to see patterns and we time to see them. Am I confusing activity with suspicion? I don't know any more but I don't trust any of you. Plus I have base line of behaviour on any of you. Don and Andy are both new here, and you fossils I don't know from Larry. No offence meant. Maybe we should lynch one of the most active people, as then at least we would have a large body of definitely town or mafia reasoning to examine. Or maybe we should save them for when the stakes are higher. Can you lynch yourself? Then I would get some peace and you would know I was coming from a genuine place, lol. Sweet Jeebus, this is an exhausting game.
-
Ok that is glib. Not convincing but given the context it couldn't be. But if we were going to Lynch, wouldn't it be better just to get it over with? All this changing votes and bringing up alternate theories is only muddying the waters so if someone flips town, everyone will have accused everyone a few times and changed their mind and saved the vote and so on so it will be a flaming mess to see who really instigated what. At this point, I don't trust any of you and Andy is making the most sense logically. Which probably means about as much as who is using the funniest memes at this point.
-
No I was cleverly asking Turin about his own behaviour in the third person to establish both how suspicious it is and how threadbare the trust is around here. But by all means let's have your opinion as well. Let's see how wolfy you sound in your tunnel vision on Cairos.
