Egwene and Rand are already getting it on as a backstory. I've never seen a version of the Aes Sedai ring quite that "discrete"; I mean, they would need a mirror of mists weave for that thing to ever go unnoticed! And when Lan gets into the bath with Moraine (which didn't actually happen till they reached the borderlands where it was the custom), how did she warm up the water? To me it looks like she just farted into the tub. Oh! And the first scene with the Red Ajah, why was that guy squealing? Was it because they were going to give him a bath? (lol) ...or was something more sinister supposed to be going on? Who knows...

I quite enjoyed most of these changes.

True. But Prime did Super Bowl trailers for Hanna and Jack Ryan in the past. So it’s not unprecedented 

I just have a hard time imagining that they would pass up the opportunity to show off their shiny new toy to as many people as possible.

Let's start with the concept art. The concepts all look amazing. (Though, just fair warning, Rafe popped into The Dusty Wheel's livestream and said that these were early concept drawings and some have changed substantially.)

Emond's Field looks amazing - just like I pictured it. What we believe to be Shadar Logoth looks spectacularly creepy - though I always thought it would be a little more ruined than it appears in the drawing. [I'm also hesitant to say 100% that it is Shadar Logoth - it could be one of Rand's Ba'alzamon dreams - specifically the one where he heads to the White Tower]. 

I thought there would be more Tinkers too - but I also feel like they might have many different wagon circles that correspond to family units. So we may not be getting the entire picture.

I have a different take on the one with the group of riders. I think that's the Emond's fielders, Lan and Moiraine and that the tower is Shadar Logoth. I think the stone is not a portal stone, but just a common road marker.

As for a release - I'm sticking with my prediction for sometime between late April and early June. I think we will get a Super Bowl trailer. Everyone associated with the production keeps talking about how stunning WoT is visually. Rafe has mentioned how awesome the channeling looks. Multiple cast members have gushed over the visuals. If they really have something that's going to blow people away visually, they will want to showcase that on the biggest possible stage - not wait for San Diego ComiCon or some other smaller venue.

Amazon's typical pattern is to premier a series somewhere between a month and two months after the trailer is released. 

For perspective:

"The Boys" -- first trailer: June 17, 2019. Season One release: July 26, 2019.

"Carnival Row" -- first trailer: August 6, 2019. Season One release: August 30, 2019.

"Bosch" -- first trailer: January 14, 2015. Season One release: February 13, 2015.

That type of schedule would fit with a Super Bowl trailer and the notion that they will shoot pickups for the last 2 episodes when filming resumes in April.  

I have long suspected that we will get a prologue involving the Blood Snow, Rand's birth, and Gitara Sedai's prophecy.

I also suspect that the majority of the Aes Sedai who have been cast who we know do not appear in EotW will be part of Logain's story. This could very well include retconning some characters who died between tNS and EotW.

I think it unlikely that they will skip Baerlon. And I think it likely that Shadar Logoth will take place in episode 3. 
 

I believe only Morgase and Elaida will be in season 1, with Min, Elayne and any of the other Trakands being introduced in season 2.
