I have come up with a possible Storyline for Mat.

He returns to Tar Valon, where he runs into Padan Fain and Fain talks Mat into helping him steal the Dagger from wherever Morraine left it. After they have it Mat finds out what Fain really is, narrowly avoiding being killed by Fain who taunts Mat and tells him he is going to find the others from the 2 Rivers and kill them. Mat ends up following Fain all the way to Fal Dara by road where Fain is captured and Mat is re-united with the others. 

I would love to have Mat meet up with Thom along the way and possibly Verin as well. 

Unlikely i have come up with the correct plotline but it puts Mat, Fain and Verin in Fal Dara after the EOTW and Tarwins Gap.

Yes after watching 3 episodes Donel Finn has got huge Shoes to fill, Barney has been superb

I think we will see Mat getting healed from the Dagger in S2 E1 and they can write in the change in appearance and difference in Donel's take on the character.

How did Marin al'Vere recognise that ring so quick that she immediately called Morraine, Aes Sedai? I reckon she has seen them before, i wonder if she may in fact be a failed Novice, maybe no stronger in the OP then Morgase.

On that picture Ceara(pronounced as Kie-ra on the panel today) screams Elayne, Natasha nearly has to be Lanfear, Meera I think is Verin(sorry Elder Hamon, no Margo M). Rafe said they are playing major characters and the only other new ones who could be in S2 are Elaida and Aviendha. 

Will be interesting to see how they do the changeover, maybe tie it into the Dagger in some way.

Love the Poster but 10 or so mins of Rafe telling us about how much he loves the Books was not worth dragging myself out of bed at 3.30am on a Saturday Morning. Would that Poster get me fired if i was a non WOT Fan, not really

They need to be tied into the show or we will end up having different Actors playing LTT and the Forsaken and to much contradictory stuff and it could quickly turn into a mess.

But its still a very long journey and a lot of things have to happen first.

You can remove the “probably” from your headline now that S2 has officially been Greenlit.

as for the sentence, it could come from anywhere, or it could even be something made just for the teaser.

We have had Audio of Perrin and Egwene, then audio and Mats Dagger, then Audio and Morraine, now audio and Lan. That leaves 2 more of these mini teasers to go. My prediction for the next one is Nynaeve scowling and saying something like “you think you know us, you will pay for what you have done” the last one will be Rand saying something like “i will not be your Puppet, he is my father”

Now rides alongside RJ as a honorary Hero of the Horn.

I think the release date is going to be somewhat strategic, tying in with both the LOTR Show(another i’m looking forward to) as well as the 2nd Season of Carnival Row on Amazon Prime as well. Not sure they will want to be running two shows at the same time. 
I could see Carnival Row being first as Fans have been waiting for nearly 18 months, then LOTR a very well known franchise then finish it with an all new never before seen series. 

I just can’t get my head around Roose Bolton playing  him in the TV Series, I realise Michael McElhaton is a talented actor but i will just have to wait to see him playing Tam to change how i see him.
