I remember you! Hello!
-
You succeeded. That was an awesome song.
-
How did I forget David Draimen? He's great too! And Simone Simons (Epica.) And Tommy Karevick. And the other two Nightwish vocalists...yep, way too many good singers around.
-
As for top 10 vocalists, I'm not sure...for sure Hansi Kursch (Blind Guardian,) Roy Khan (Kamelot,) Floor Jansen (Nightwish,) and Matt Smith (Theocracy) would be up there.
-
After searching through the forums, I found that I seem to have been at 52 points.
*shoots an arrow through the banana* SEE? I'm much better behaved now!
-
I was in archers and you actually look kinda familiar to me...I'm that one who was always getting in trouble for channeling at a certain yellow fruit, if that sparks your memory.
-
I don't like Tool much. Source seems good. Of course I've not listened to much of either.
-
I can't say I'm a fan, sorry. The singer's voice is just too quiet and overpowered by the music.
-
I've actually never listened to Tool before. (Though I've heard of them, of course.) Time to go do that.

I just had to search "Colorado prog band Source" and they popped up. I bet you couldn't find them because they're from Boulder, not Denver.
I listened to one of their songs and yep, they're pretty good.
-
I think I found your band, Zep! This them?
-
I bet they don't often use Valhalla as a last song, if that's the case. I'm watching this right now:
and it is pretty awesome that he lets the audience sing. I'd love to be there.
-
I do like And Then There Was Silence, by the way. I just can't say it's one of my favourites.
The only song I don't care for on the new album is Miracle Machine, and I usually don't even skip over that one.
-
I've never seen ANY band live. *cries* Well, any famous band. I'll just find a Youtube video of it for now.
-
Would you kill me if I said Grand Parade was one of my least favourite songs on the new album? That doesn't mean it's not great though, because the new album is actual perfection. The two newest albums are the ones I like the most too.
I always thought The Bard's Song was very overrated.
-
A local Denver band? I live very close to Denver, and I've never heard of them, but I might be able to find something.
-
I didn't think Unleash the Archers were even that obscure.
-
I'm listening to it right now, and yep, it's really good.
And I think we might have very different opinions on what the best Blind Guardian songs are. My favourites are The Ninth Wave, Mirror Mirror, Sacred Worlds, The Soulforged, Twilight of the Gods, Wheel of Time, Ride Into Obsession, and Another Stranger Me.
-
I've listened to a bit of Turisas (Stand Up and Fight, Rasputin) and from what I've heard they're pretty awesome. Dream Theater, I'm less familiar with.
I'm listening to Edguy right now and I think I like them MORE than Avantasia, so thanks for that rec!
-
I actually LOVE Theocracy, how did I forget to put them on my list? As in, they're in my top 5.
And yep, I already listen to a few on your list. I'll check out the ones I don't, though.
I only know one Hammerfall song and that's When The Dragon Lies Bleeding, which I love. Any songs of theirs that are similar to that one?
-
