just remember, I'm usually pretty accurate with my d1 gut reads, but I also typically die early from my old playstyle which was much more obnoxious than this so people tend to ignore my d1 reads.

never played Bioshock soooo yeah we have seen numerous games on this website where a new player fumbled their way into an immediate d1 exist, so much so that "newbie pass" became a thing for awhile, but then we started getting "newbies" that would take advantage of said "newbie pass" and bamboozle the whole game. This game is very volatile and a lot to take in for new players so the metaphor is quite apt, heck it aptly describes even my first game, though I think I survived til day 3.

how does people sharing their opinions on players anything but good? Making statements is how we build our information and our track record within a game. Everyone should be looking to make statements and looking at those unwilling to make statements in a critical light. I probably wasn't in that game I got nothing out of this, I will say I know a bit of what Ed's got going on IRL though so atm he is not sus to me. you're missing the logical counterpoint, if you're mafia and you start throwing around Jester it's a fast way to derail your train. Not that it really is a train right now unless the "joke votes" aren't retracted. Which is why I haven't moved my vote yet, I'm waiting to see where/if these joke votes get moved.

there was no point to it it really just felt like a pre-laid "ah you see I was right! X player was Y aligned and they did this thing that I said" Basically what was said in and of itself was worthless because he defined this scenario but then turned around and stated that it could be used the same way on the other side... it just felt weird and given that he just said he needed to look up wifom specifically to turn around and almost immediately make a textbook example of said wifom just did not sit right with me. we have had Town aligned jesters in the past, it's not unheard of here. Even as a joke I don't understand why you would introduce the idea of a Jester... Anyone know what the vote count on Sinister was when they made this *joke*
