DEMONOLOGY - GAME THREAD

For the sake of clarity, I will, as is my custom every game around this time, confirm that I do not ever run a bastard game.

I will also confirm that if I make a mistake, I will post that it was a mistake and do what can be done to correct any balance issues.

Last, I encourage all players to play the game that *is* before them and not the one that they think *should be* or *has been* before them.

This sounds like a fake news story imo.

Heathens are specifically town players. A traitor who is explicitly a Heathen would contradict my role PM.

The Order is town as a collective, but the verbiage is less specific about its constituents. It rather strongly implies that they would all be town, but it does not state this as a matter of fact.

If that can be trusted. I have never played in a game where it could not be, but different communities view these things differently, so I don't know what is standard for the mod.

I'm going to go ahead and nullify this statement.  I may have been taking things too literally.  Going to go back to a healthy I don't know.

I'll say this.

From the pov of what I know I had no reason to think Notbob or Tinker were in the clear prior to our chat last night.

I actually felt better about Crusher than either of them, though I have no reason to clear Crush aorn.

Then I'm glad we had this chat.

Mafia-12

To be more explicit since I'm probably dead in a few hours and won't be on much before that.

I was informed of certain things that players ought to know if they are what they claim to be.

Some of that is now public knowledge in the thread, some of it isn't, hence why I was asking people to talk to me before Nolder hammered the day short.

In an environment where all players have been claimed by one faction or the other, I would be concerned about knowledge gaps.

That being said, the issue with the Order right now is very confusing to me if no errors were made, because it seems that the majority of Order members supported the expectation that Zander should know who the members were, and Zander denies this and flipped town.  I do not have any unique information relevant to this dispute.

The Order issue is perplexing indeed.

I can confirm that the Heathen were told the same thing about our leader, and our leader did in fact have a list of names which was shared in the QT.

We also can confirm one other person which is likely not useful under the circumstances.

This is all aside from any guesswork and deduction on my own part.

I can confirm the Alcolyte was supposed to know who all the order members were.

I an confirm Zander didnt know who the members were.  He was advised he had to signal to them and wasnt allowed to claim his role outright imo.

Is it worth sharing at this time why Tink is considered the least trustworthy?

Solely because the giant question mark in the room with a "complicated" situation appeared to signal him at one point for those who were watching for such things...  I suppose the EOD1 rushed hammer with Tiink/Pral/Zander voting right on top of each other had me predisposed not to trust him fully.  If we are looking for a traitor Heathen I would pick him, but I would only look at that if there is reason to believe the groups are infiltrated.

I see the mistake now - and as promised:

MOD CONFIRMATION: I did tell Order Members that the Acolyte would know them. I then changed the nature of the Acolyte's role and decided to make it more of a challenge, and change the nature of the role by NOT telling the Acolyte who the members were.

I forgot to then re-write the Order pm.

That's the 2nd mistake of the game.

BOOM! Vindication. As was said, Zander did not know the people. Glad that entire crap-show is put to rest.

See, I told you guys, that Zander guy is Villagery AF imo
