Now, a brief explanation on how I would like to see this system work. I will use the PoL(Peoples of the Light) as an example. I would like Andular and Russ to become conversant with all aspects of the Divisions in the PoL. That way if one of them has to go LoA the other can cover. This means working in unison and I would hope this will lead to a better understanding of the needs of the Divisions they are responsible for. To this end I would hope that Andular has access to the White Tower staff board and Russ has access to the Warders Staff board. This I believe will lead to a greater understanding of how the two Divisions work. This should lead to greater cooperation between these two Divisions and prevent any break down in communication. The same goes for the other Groups. Each GL and AGL garners an understanding of all the Divisions within their groups and hopefully will lead to better communication both within the Group and then across all Groups.

 

Now GL’s will be appointed by myself and Muirenn, but AGL’s will be appointed by recommendation from the GL to Muirenn and myself. What Staff the GL/AGL feels is necessary for their Groups is up to them to appoint. Whether or not there needs to be separate RP Coordinators, for each Division is a decision the GL and AGL will be entrusted to make, same goes for the Bio Checkers. Where ever appropriate, we would like to see the AGL take over from the GL if the GL steps down, but this is the Admins decision and it should not be taken as automatic that the AGL will take over.

 

Although the GL has the final say on what happens within the Group, I would hope any such decision would be a mutual decision between the GL and AGL.

 

With the PoD (Peoples of the Dragon) and the UR(Unaligned Races) the number of AGL’s is to be determined by the GL, bearing in mind the number of Divisions contained within these Groups. Where appropriate I would like to see all current Staff retained, but if the GL’s feel that a change is necessary they should submit their recommendations to Muirenn and myself.

 

Inter Group communication concerning multi Division RP’s should still be handled by the various RP Coordinators, who should advise the GL and AGL of what they are planning.

 

I will be implementing the new structure for the OOC boards ASAP.
