A few days ago I saw this Swedish movie call Ondskan. It was billed as "High School Version of Fight Club" Which is why I rented it. It was okay but Fight Club it aint.

 

Is this typical Swedish Cinema? There were parts I didn't understand, but I thought it was a Swedish thing, like Sixth Form, it sounded more like a martial arts thing to me.

I don't think Ondskan is typical Swedish cinema... Or I don't know, what do you mean by typical? Why they compared it to Fight Club I don't know, I don't see that many similarities...

 

Anyway, the movies is based on the book Ondskan by Swedish author Jan Guillou, and it's supposed to be somewhat autobiographical.
