At the risk of sounding like I am DISTANCING, making no sense appears to be a staple of Red'd town game and I wouldn't vote her today purely because she appears to have conviction even if she is horribly wrong 96% of the time. A townie is a townie, and you don't lynch townies.

Does nobody here understand that Cory is not omniscient, and neither am I? I was quite convinced he was scum due to his behavior -- others even agreed with me on this. What changed between then and now that makes me lock scum for believing that? Why is nobody considering the obvious -- that both of us were just wrong? I am NOT scum and I am frankly getting annoyed at your results oriented play that allows scum to EASILY place me on the lynch list with NO RESISTANCE from the town because Cory made an unbelievably stupid play.

I invited Mak to hydra with me so he could try playing with a new crowd and a different culture, one I had hoped was more mature. Instead, we're having emotional meltdowns and town-town suicide pacts based on NOTHING that escalated for NO REASON. I even told Cory I wouldn't have time to push him and his reaction was to turn around and call me lock scum and then purposefully bait me into killing myself? That's ridiculous, even if he was right. All he's done is detail D1 and I want to try and piece this game back together.

 

VOTING ME IS LAZY, pure and simple. I am not scum and I cannot believe how many people have come out of the woodwork yet nobody is saying "huh, I wonder if they were both just wrong." You're giving scum not one but TWO free town deaths in a game this small by continuing to FOS me over a MISUNDERSTANDING.

And yes, I'm a little mad that nobody seems to understand these basic concepts when I brought my friend here to play BETTER GAMES with BETTER PLAYERS.

We KNOW Cory was town. He did something stupid to end up proving that, but w/e, what's done is done. To ignore the info his death gives us would be stupid.

 

Since we know he was town, it becomes immediately apparent that scum were likely trying to bandwagon onto him since he looked vulnerable. Your push on him fits this exactly.

 

MOREOVER, your reaction to his maneuver DID look forced. Was it upsetting what he did? Obviously. But we're all big boys here, we can get over it and go back to playing mafia. You were telling everyone to ignore everything Cory said..... which looks incredibly scummy since a large part of what Cory was saying before he died PUTS YOU IN A BAD LIGHT.

 

Lastly I have you as scum cause Red setting me and you up as competing trains looked like an obvious attempt at distancing to me.

 

If you're town, stop going in the same direction Cory was going for a bit and acting like you're above suspicion. Start getting out better reads. I'm not scum, and I'm pretty sure you know that.

I want people to ignore the BAD FEELS Cory left, but I also know for a FACT that his OMGUS push on me is dead wrong so it WOULD actually be a benefit to town if you forgot it. I don't expect you to believe this immediately but I DO expect you to eventually understand that I am sincere and I am town and I am REALLY FRUSTRATED by this situation and I am not going to storm off from the thread but if we're being honest, I was tempted after that stunt.

FYI, I got Red and Tommy locked in as scummy scumbuddies together, and everyone else should too, because I'm town yet again (I rand like such a boss) and my reads have just been amazing lately. Town gotta follow me while I'm still hot!

 

I was just re-reading Tommy's posts and I tend to agree about him. What bugs me the most is how he had Cory pegged as scum so early on, from just reading the first four pages, according to him. Tommy and Cory have played so much together that they can read each other well...but it's a process, from what I've seen in previous games. This is the first time I see one of them lockscum the other so quickly. It comes across like Tommy wanted Cory out of the game pronoto without weighing him properly and only going off on how he entered the game... that doesn't sound like townTommy to me.

I am pretty good at reading Cory lately. He knows this. He has a certain way he responds to me when I call him scum when he's town and he has a way he responds when I call him scum. It's more defensive and he turns on me quickly because he knows I'll push his lynch. He did exact scum M.O. here: he trolled without sounding confident and he tried to dissuade me from my scum read of him for one or two whiny posts and then he turned on me instantly.

 

This is how he plays as scum. I've been right about him out last 5 or 6 games on POG in the past 2 weeks. It's not entirely my fault that he happened to totally switch his meta in this game, it's just bad timing and a bad reaction on his part to go full moron and throw the game.
