@ Tar Monster:  what do you think about Fred likely having a suit?  We know scum likely has one - you agree that Fred is the most likely?

 

I wouldn't say we know that scum likely has another suit, but I personally think so.  I also think that the opening scene would indicate that Fred has a suit.

 

Also, according to my missing vote theory, Fred is one of {Creeper, Skeleton, Phantom}

How do you all feel about lynching TAR tomorrow because of the win-win situation it brings up?

BTW: folks, let's get some activity, we're getting really close, a few more good moves and we're probably there. Ideas, actions please:
 

Game mechanics :

• (what could scum have and how would it work
• especially - what was it about Black Night's track on MUMMY
• can maffia steal? could they have started with roles? mirror, for instance?
• any alternative theories to TAR's explanation on votecounts?
• how does this bear trap thing work really? what's its purpose?

Lynch analysis:

• who was, why and where
• bear trap analysis

ALT analysis - who can have an alt, who migth be alts, etc.

 

What new possibilities do we have with so limited amount of scum being left, besides the obvious ones?

If there really was such a role as a triangle in the game, then mafia definitely started with roles, because Mummy explained BK's 3 visit tracking report with that. So far nothing else from the first phase of the game explains that tracking result that I can think of.

 

Aside from DPR listing the triangle role along with a couple of others in one of his posts, though, I begin to wonder if it really was in the game. Did anyone aside from Mummy claim to have gotten one?

 

It definitely couldn't hurt to lynch Tar to confirm Zombie, but his theory on the vote counts sounds pretty plausible to me.

Something is off here.

 

We've been assured time and time again that town would have a very hard game (by DPR), that town needs to get the keys asap, etc.

Scum has no NK. That means (as a minimum) that they cannot remove players by their choice.

Scum has these bear traps, but I fail to see how those hurt town, actually, the extra trains give more info. Also, town can always vote to release everyone.

Town might just be able to deny maffia arrest too by not stealing.

 

So how is the maffia supposed to win this game? This doesn't add up at all. There must be something out there, something we don't expect. Something very scary. Something that favours scum heavily.

 

What would that be?

Bloody hell. I keep forgetting about this game. That's what happens when I don't look in the main mafia forum in my normal browser, and I restarted my computer a couple of days ago, and the other browser didn't open automatically since I don't normally use it... I'm sorry all for being completly useless. I've PMed Wax and Mantis to hear if they have any good ideas for my NA.
