I'd like to hear more from Coffin before I make a decision about voting to release him from the trap or not. Before his alterego took over, I was starting to lean scum on him. That or incredibly frustrated townie. I'm having a hard time making up my mind about him.

Weekend strikes and Monday workload.  'Sup ya'll. 

 

As for the holstering thing, I'm rethinking it, and yeah, I led the werewolf lynch (to the person who asked).  I'm mostly rethinking because of a PM with DPR.  DPR basically said that the goodies that are out there get better and better as the game goes on.  It makes me think that scum are going to get some good stuff regardless, and it is up to town to try and match it.  I'll keep thinking about it though.

Wax made some good points on Charlie. I'd also be willing to go for Shark, partly due to gut feeling, but his/her posting seems off.

I'm L-1 on getting released from this trap.  Witch Doctor has confirmed that I stole a 1x Watcher role last night.  Please hammer my release.

 

That means nothing to me as I don't see Witch Dr as being particularly town.

Not fully caught up but wanted to comment on this. That's not necessarily true, there are mirrors after all.

 

 

He has told me his actions for each night, I believe him and that my viewing is true.

You think mafia are stealing from people?  I don't.  If somebody confirms a steal, that goes a long way (to me) towards confirming they are town.

 

Mafia are getting people "caught" stealing.  A successful steal and confirmation could very likely be the same as a Cop viewing in this game.

 

 

Ok, here's my theory now that I'm out of the trap:  If we holster, mafia can't catch anybody stealing.  If we call our shots and use the trackers/watchers accordingly, we can catch scum trying to get us caught.

 

Example:

 

Player A steals from Player B.  Scum probably target one of them to "catch aka NK".  If a watcher watches Player A and B, and a tracker tracks A, we can probably identify if scum try to get somebody caught.  If we have people firing willy-nilly in every direction, there will be enough confusion for scum to kill/catch people without detection.  If we coordinate, we should be good.

 

Meanwhile, we need to get mirrors out of the game.  Get them used up, or all in the hands of certain players.  This way we can reasonably trust Cop views.

 

Is this plan crap?  Maybe.  But it is a plan, and I've yet to see one I think is better.

I know my alignment, so I voted for myself.  I don't know Coffin's.  What is hard to understand about that?

I see Kook got released. I'm more unsure about Coffin. Waxie; are you willing to confirm if Coffin sent you his NA's?

Also, the only way we can continue to scumhunt in my theory is if we unlock the van.  Fred most likely has the keys.  We need to find him, and lynch him.  Of all the scum likely to have an extra suit, it would be Fred.

 

Therefore, I'm really thinking we might want to look into a Tar Monster lynch.  He's confirming a 2nd suit.  We know scum has one.  We know 2 people flipped town.  Are there more than 3, and Tar is town as well?  Maybe....but wouldn't we want THREE confirmed town in that case?

Let's stop for a minute and consider this. I don't think we have any proof either way. If scum have no steal, then you're right about confirmed stealing being helpful.

We don't know that either. Sure, we can speculate, but they might have much more that we don't know of. That might include having some sort of plan for town holstering. Apart from town not getting the info they should be.

So if you haven't been released from the trap, you would have wanted to penalize town? You do realize that if you're town, you win with town regardless of whether you survive, right?

Calling shots might work, but they shouldn't be called on thread. I also believe that the more actions, the better chance of tracking them (more information).

We'll need to consider your example. It's not easy to coordinate as we don't know who the maffia are (and thus whom to trust with what actions).

In a DPR game I doubt it.

 

 

Have you played many DPR games?  I have.  Some of them are very simple when you peel away the layers.  Once the mechanics we need to know are figured out, this can become quite simple, actually.
