I would guess Zombie is the suit though. If he is mafia with his "other" account, it would make sense to let the suit let the talking about the suit. And he wasn't very willing to tell us who his other account was.

 

 

This is what I was thinking of - it was mentioned earlier. Of course, DPR has shot down the idea of Zombie being the last suit now, but with as unwilling as he was to give information on who his other alt is, I'm willing to bet he's mafia. And under the circumstances having him controlling two votes is less than ideal.

I have an idea. Why don't we all agree to not use our steal abilities? Then we can avoid death, get a handle on the PRs, and anticipate the future better.

Oh, and it should be noted that if that is how people die that those who have been stolen from would thus be confirmed and considering the low body count I assume that mafia would also be a group that has avoided the spotlight.

Please do read this post very carefully.

 

We are in a very unique situation.

 

1) We have two players who are confirmed town: MANTIS and WAX PHANTOM (me). (*)

2) PM's are allowed.

3) People have a lot of night actions.

 

The situation is very simple. Those two players can be trusted for 100% (as they are town).

PM's make it possible to share information with them without others knowing. This is important because that makes it possible for everyone to fully reveal (roles, actions) privately and independently.

 

This is a very powerful tool indeed. As the reveals are made privately and independently, two things are ensured:

 

1) The maffia won't be any wiser.

2) The maffia has a hard time to come up with lies because they cannot rely on information provided by other players.

 

Yes, the maffia can steal pool info and try to come up with claims that migth work. But given the sheer amount of night actions in the game, it is very hard for them to do, if not impossible.

 

Thus, it is of the utmost importance that everyone share every bit of information they have (but as a minimum their nighh actions and roles) with the confirmed town players. it's probably best to put both players on every such reveal. In fact, that is the only possible pro-town behaviour as far as I can see.

 

So please, everyone wake up and start posting. Yes, putting all those pieces together will be hard work, but it is work that me (and MANTIS) will have to do.

 

(*) - MANTIS is confirmed to be played by the same player as JAGUARO, WAX PHANTOM is confirmed by the same player as WEREWOLF. We know that those players are town because they have been lynched and flipped town. I hope that I don't have to quote all the relevant posts, but if needed, I will.

The reason I'm asking is because I had a 1-time cop viewing and used that on the Knight last night, and I got a town result. But he's caught in a lie (unless someone else fesses up to already having stolen his tracker-role) and that's enough to varrant a vote from me regardless of my viewing. I am interested in what he'll have to say for himself though, so I'll hold off until he shows off.

I want to smack you for this. If you viewed him town then he is town. Several people can steal roles and he was prime real estate last night. You're standpoint is made from ignorance because not everybody has checked in, if people did get a PR they wouldn't want to announce it to the world, and you're going directly counter to the information that you have been provided by your ability.

 

The derp in this thread amazes me. It's damn unfortunate that I believe the claim and tht clears both of you in my eyes.

I will quickly mention that Black Knight, Mummy, and Pterodactyl all appear pretty confirmed to me ATM based on their claims, but that will need more analysis later.

Bullsh@t. I had a 1x mirror stolen from me N1 and I have a nightly thief. I happen to be town, thus this logic doesn't hold up.

 

Here's the mirror claim I was talking about. Adss up with his earlier talk of "how he hopes that the people who stole from him wouldn't use his role (I lost that quote somewhere).

What do you mean with "stolen"? You failed to stead yesterday, right?

 

Right. I was unable to steal anything from TBK N1. That was obviously before I knew that there were other thieves in the game. I thought that if I could steal his ability, that would prove he was a tracker. If I didn't steal an ability, he was lying and obviously scum.

 

As the events of Day 2 unfolded I realized that there were multiple thieves out there. I also realized that I couldn't steal a role that was already being used. Finally, I realized that I needed to protect my cop ability so I claimed my 1x Cop ability was stolen yesterday to make myself a less attractive target last night and also less likely to be RBed if that power were in the game.

 

So I didn't have my cop power stolen. I used that power on Ghost. I used that power on Ghost because he was the TBK wagon I countered.

 

I don't buy this. For various reasons, not the least of which being that you contradict yourself every other page.

I realize this is a little confusing. Mantis is a confusing concept. The only thing that matters is that I know with certainty that he is Town and Mantis knows with certainty that I am Town.

 

I'm going to give you two scenarios for what's going on. One is true. The other is a deception. Neither of these scenarios affects the information being shared.

 

1. Mantis came up with the idea to claim that my Cop role had been stolen once we realized that there were other thieves. This was before we knew that if I used the role it couldn't be stolen from me. At that point, there was really no reason to go back and clear that up. So I used my cop ability last night and claimed my result.

 

2. Then again, this could all be a lie to cover for the person who actually stole from me. In that case, Mantis would also know who stole from me. I would only know who stole from me if the person who stole from me PMed me to tell me they stole from me. In this case, that person would have also PMed me the cop result and I would have shared that cop result with the Town.

And if Mantis is so town then why do you keep distancing from him more and more? You're relying on his claim to vet you Nd it's negatively impacting your game. That isn't a two way street, mafia could claim it on a townie and then kill that townie to look better. Actually..

Wax's casing on Charlie Robot is pretty compelling. Another thing that speaks to me is the fact that Charlie Robot was trying to push the notion of voting both Jaguaro and Mantis, which would have made no sense. Scum wouldn't want a confirmed townie and so I can totally see'em trying to push towards lynching two accounts of the same person so we're left in the dark... as opposed as lynching one and vetting the other.

1.  Why aren't 3 people trapped?  I thought you said Bear Traps trapped 3 people.
