The gang gets to pick one person to watch each night.  If someone visits that person, they catch the first person to view them.  Just can't figure out why they didn't catch anyone N1...  Unless they can't self target.

Scum would have had to be even dumber than you not to target TBK.  And I find the thought of people dumber than you walking the earth without helmets on to be far too unsettling to fathom.

 

The other possibility is that the person they view has to be in possession of stolen property.  No one had any stolen property on N1.  Just floating that out there.

I thought of this earlier.  Except the opposite.  Would it work if we all posted, in thread, who we were going to steal from before doing so?  Would that tell us who mafia is?  Well, I'm guessing DPR is a good enough mod that he would have thought of that.  And counter it.  Maybe something like the Scooby gang can target somebody to see if they catch someone stealing from them.  Rather than only targeting themselves.

 

It may still be worth it though.  We could test it easily enough. 

 

 

 

 

I have an idea. Why don't we all agree to not use our steal abilities? Then we can avoid death, get a handle on the PRs, and anticipate the future better.

 

We could at least do this once to allow us to test the no kills if we don't steal from mafia idea.

 

Oh, and it should be noted that if that is how people die that those who have been stolen from would thus be confirmed and considering the low body count I assume that mafia would also be a group that has avoided the spotlight.
