Some points:

 

1) I can confirm that the secondary alts can vote just fine and their votes are counted as any other. (DPR told me so)

2) I can confirm that the secondary alts will flip as no alignment. (DPR told me so)

3) I will neither confirm nor deny that I have a secondary alt myself.

4) I can confirm that Jag/Mantis actions are dumb. There is no reason to believe the cop view of a secondary alt. Worse, even after the secondary alt flips, that still won't confirm the view (because it has no alignment).

5) Lynching the original alt might confirm the secondary alt's "alignment".

There would be nothing to be confused about if the complex gambit hadn't been vomited up onto the screen by a boneheaded troglodyte.

 

It's very very simple.

 

Day 1:

Jags is a thief that also had a 1x Cop ability.

Jags requests clarification on his thief ability to see if he would see the QT.

Jags receives confirmation from Mod that something interesting could happen involving multiple accounts.

Jags thinks the Ghost train built too quickly and creates a counter train on TBK - who then claims Tracker.

Jags had the option of stealing OR using his cop ability on N1.

Jags used his thief ability to try to steal TBK's Tracker ability N1.

As of N1, Jags thought a. he was the only role stealer in the game and b. if he didn't steal a role from TBK that meant TBK was lying so it was as good as a cop view.

Jags also thought he if DID steal from TBK, no harm no foul because that would keep the tracker role in the hands of Town and scum wouldn't know who had it in case TBK was killed.

Okay, after reading all this, I still feel comfortable with my vote on Jags. I don't like the way that you've been lying this game and then faked a cop reveal for yourself.

I think that if Jaguar were to be town his actions would have been less complicated. Lying to vet his alts, lying about roles being stolen. It comes across like he has something to hide.The way he went about it isn't just unwise play, but feels scummy. I also have a feeling that he wanted us to go for Mantis because his coroner report might simply specify that he has no alliance. I'm not familiar with the whole suit deal, but it seems plausible. In which case it won't get us far and there will still be a big question mark over Jaguar.

From Zombie's post, this is what I understand - if Jag dies, the "empty suit" lives on. So I'm guessing if he's town then he'll still be around as Mantis. If that's the case then I don't understand why anyone is going to hesitate voting Jag. If he's town then Mantis is cleared town.

Oh you're full of shit. There wouldn't have been any complications if A. this was the only alt [as we had assumed] and B. we didn't try to cover for the person that stole my cop ability then had said person puke up a bunch of shit they didn't and couldn't understand.

 

Anyone saying they wouldn't have vetted themselves if they thought they were the only alt in the game is straight up lying.

 

Obviously now that we know there are other alts out there, it doesn't mean anything. However, at the time I vetted myself I was under the impression I was the ONLY alt. So you guys lynch Jags, and scum kills Mantis thus ensuring Town has no mod confirmed Town. Great plan. In the mean time, ignore the fact that a cop role was stolen from Jags night 1. NIGHT ONE. Scum isn't going to start with a COP role.

 

There is also the important question of finding out if anyone had a Watcher role stolen night 1 because I have it in my furry little paws today.
