Jaguar/Mantis - Aside from that, the manner of play they are going about and the things that have been said make them very hard to trust.

Well this is a load of Krapp.  Even the dumbass that threw us under the bus realized he fouled up and that every calculated step of our play has been pro Town.  The entire thing has been made public and rendered completely friggin useless.  So congrats on that, I guess.

 

Your steps were idiotic at best, and confusing as hell. But please, start from the beginning and explain what you did and why. At this point I tend to believe that you guys are town and still wouldn't feel bad about lynching either of you ...

Does anyone else here remember the VC shenanigans from D1 (or D2, I forget) when the VC said 14 but DPR told us we hadn't achieved a lynch? 

 

It is possible/reasonable that Mantis and Jag started as the same person and therefore they get a combined single vote and that is why the VC was off by one?  Anybody feel like going back and checking to see if they were both on the lynch?

I am so utterly, completly, mindblowingly lost. The last 10 pages was chaos to say the least. I have no reads on anyone right now; it's all one big confused jumble.

 

Whoever was confused about the Mirror role:

 

A mirror makes every action done against them, go back to the person sending an action. You send a kill on a mirror? You die. You track a mirror? You get told about your own action. You view a mirror? You get your own alignement back. 

 

I do however agree with that one of Jag/Mantis should be checked.

This is what I was talking about.  Looks to me like somebody's vote didn't count.  Whether it is a multiple account thing or some other mechanic is probably a PAFO, but thought I would bring it to everyone's attention.

Quite the meltdown there. Version 2 - Care to explain this case on me? I know this will be OMGUS'd away but the very sudden flip on me makes me do this at you: 

 

Voting you not so much for the back and forth on mummy but for seeding next day lynches.

There would be nothing to be confused about if the complex gambit hadn't been vomited up onto the screen by a boneheaded troglodyte.

 

It's very very simple.

 

Day 1:

Jags is a thief that also had a 1x Cop ability.

Jags requests clarification on his thief ability to see if he would see the QT.

Jags receives confirmation from Mod that something interesting could happen involving multiple accounts.

Jags thinks the Ghost train built too quickly and creates a counter train on TBK - who then claims Tracker.

Jags had the option of stealing OR using his cop ability on N1.

Jags used his thief ability to try to steal TBK's Tracker ability N1.

As of N1, Jags thought a. he was the only role stealer in the game and b. if he didn't steal a role from TBK that meant TBK was lying so it was as good as a cop view.

Jags also thought he if DID steal from TBK, no harm no foul because that would keep the tracker role in the hands of Town and scum wouldn't know who had it in case TBK was killed.

 

Day 2:

Jags reveals that he was a 1x Thief that tried to steal from TBK and came up empty.

Jags claims TBK is lying scum.

Jags claimed 1x Thief because he didn't want scum to know he could keep stealing.

Jags receives a mod message stating he had his cop view stolen.

THEN everyone and their mother announces they are thieves too.

Jags receives PM's from Werewolf and someone else asking if he knows how his steal role works.

Jags receives a PM from Creeper saying HE was the one that stole Jags' Cop ability.

Jags receives confirmation from Mod that trying to steal an ability being used results in no theft.

TBK announces tracking Mummy to 3 places.

Jags now believes TBK's claim and calls TBK Town.

Jags finds a Mantis suit. It fits so nice he decides to keep it.

"Mantis" claims to have a Cop view on Jaguaro.

"Mantis" calls Jaguaro "mod confirmed" Town.

"Mantis" claims he and Jaguaro are "effectively Masons"

Now you know why. Mantis *IS* Jaguaro. Therefore, Mantis knows what role Mod gave Jaguaro.

At this point, Jaguaro thinks Mantis is the only empty suit in the game. He is also told not to reveal that information.

Thus, Jags and Mantis are forced to play out as if two different people are controlling the suit.

Jags and Mantis help lynch Mummy.

Jags and Mantis invite Creeper to their "neighborhood"

Jaguaro presses Werewolf on who he is investigating because he doesn't want duplication of investigation results.

Creeper was going to investigate Tar - sees it would be a duplicate - changes investigation to Ghost at Jaguaro's request.

Jags wanted to confirm Ghost's alignment since Ghost was the TBK counter wagon and TBK was being considered Town.

Jags tells Creeper to be careful with PM's because of the previous mod response to how his thief ability works.

Jags and Mantis tell Creeper he has the option of revealing his cop result or sending it to them for them to reveal so he doesn't expose himself.

Jags receives the innocent result on Ghost from Creeper and posts it in game.

In order to explain how he has the result, Jags has to pretend he faked having his Cop role stolen thus protecting Creeper's identity.

 

Insanity ensues. Stupid moves are made. Creeper pukes up everything he knows [he didn't know Manis was Jags in a Mantis suit]. And this is where we are.

No.  That was my mistake.  I hadn't unvoted so my vote didn't count.  I thought the day was over and we had missed the lynch or I would have fixed it.  Mod sent me a PM saying he would count my vote unless I was intentionally not unvoting.  At that point, Mummy had already been lynched so it didn't matter.

 

Anyway, don't let that confuse you.  I didn't unvote so my vote didn't count.  Simple as that.

2. I got this alt in addition to my other alt from DPR on D2. From DPR's comments, it was very clear that this alt had not been used by any other players before then.

 

3. He told me I could not lose control of this alt or my main alt.

 

4. He told me that Zombie would flip as "an Empty Costume" with no alignment.

 

5. Mantis is obviously Jaguaro's empty costume.

 

6. Therefore Jaguaro faked a cop view on himself and fearmongered about alt stealing when he almost certainly knew alt stealing was impossible.

 

7. How is that town behavior and how is a flip with no alignment going to tell us anything about his alignment?

2. I received my Mantis alt from DPR on Day 2.  As you can see, Mantis was the FIRST POST when the game started.  You do the math.

4. And knowing this, you still pretended to be confused about the Mantis role - when you have the SAME FREAKING ROLE.  There is no Town motivation for doing that.
