The villains gathered in anticipation of a de-masking, but after a very careful vote count, it appeared that there were only 13 votes...

 

They were still one short.

 

Deadline today at 4:05 pm EST  < 8 hrs.

This is the lameness.   :dry: 

 

Ugh.  Vote Mummy because this is the only lynch that's going to go through today.

Here is what I got:

 

Jaguaro tried to steal from Black Knight but got nothing.

Ptero tried to steal from Black Knight but got nothing.

Someone stole something from Jaguaro.

Phantom had a 1 x cop - viewed Black Knight = Town

Black Knight tracked Mummy that visited Miner, Creeper and Tar Monster.

Mummy had a cop/tracker/watcher with 33% chance.

Miner stole Elia´s magistrate.

Tar Monster hasn´t stolen anything and no one has stolen from him.

Mantis had a 1 x cop - viewed Jaguaro = town

 

 

Sup homey?  What kind of role let's you visit some three time in a single night?  Not sure if anyone started the game with nothing.  Way I see it is we need to know if Black Night started the game with anything and did he use it or did a third person target him and stole it.  Believe that all happen night one.  Someone seems to be lying.  If no third person exist the the birdie thing might be a good vote because Jaguaro came back town on investigation.

Having had quite enough of the back and forth, the Town gathered to do final justice to Mummy.

 

Sirens were wailing in the distance, blue lights starting to light up the horizon...

 

"Hurry! Before the Police get here!"

 

The all agreed.

 

Grabbing one end of a bandage, the unwrapping process began. And went on, and on, and on...

 

"What is this, the bandage that never ends?!"

 

But it did end - and a chin poked through the wrappings to reveal a scruffy beard. The rest of the wraps were hastily pulled off, and staring at the crowd was a member of Mystery, Inc.

 

MUMMY - AKA "SHAGGY" (KRAK TAKING OVER FOR LENLO) - MAFIA - HAS BEEN ARRESTED! 

 

It is now N2. You have 24 hrs to get actions in.

 

*Game note: Krak got lynched D1 as Ghost Clown and D2 as Mummy. Krak, this just isn't your week, bud. Seriously, don't take any unnecessary chances or waste your money on the lotto.

I havn't heard of Triangle before but that doesn't really mean much.

 

Mummy isn't silenced - has just been away for a few days and comes back with crazy claim. I can't believe I didn't see the earlier comment either  :blush:

 

There are 10 or 11 people who think the claim is scummy enough to vote it. I have to say I am with them and I can't see any other lynchable target getting enough votes considering the time frames we have and the scaredy-pants players we have.  :biggrin:

Mantis and Jaguar too, but. Maybe laying the seeds of a gambit. Mantis claimed a 1x cop role in the middle of all this insanity to clear Jags - why now? Jaguar isn't much on radar at the moment - everything is either votes or chats about Ghost or Mummy or Tar Monster/DrCough/Wolfie having it out and yes a few people have FOSed  at Jags, but nothing really scary.

Why now?  Why not now?  Jags has been playing with an open hand like overeager Town.  I actually feel a little stupid for wasting an investigation on that slot but it was so over the top it seemed staged.  My timing had less to do with FOS's and everything to do with the fact that I needed to pick a time to reveal it.  Right after two people questioned his/her alignment seemed like an opportune time.  When should I have done it, according to you?  Tonight?  Tomorrow?  Tomorrow night?  In two days?  Get real.  We have short deadlines and any stupid distraction needs to be nipped in the bud so we can stay focused.

 

 

That was one heck of a reaction dear. It struck me as a bit random. I think it could have waited until the next day as I really don't think anyone was up for a Jags lynch at the time you posted.

Claim: 1 shot cop.
Target: Jaguaro.
Reason: created the counter wagon that lead to a no lynch.
Result: Townie McTownerson.

I didn't plan on revealing this until night chat but I now realize that we seem to have a lot of cops and trackers in this game and I need to make sure scum don't start misleading Town. I'm a powerless villager now so claiming does nothing but put information in the Town's hands.

At least one of Snow Beast or Charlie is mafia. Take that to the bank.

 

 

Good thing, another two people to put on the more or less trust-worthy list. I like it.

I think that unless something bad happened to these 3, then we can assume he's telling the truth. If he was mafia and had a role that could target 3 people, it seems like there would be some sort of negative utility involved.

There was no NK last night
So, to go with a possible narrative, Mummy sends in a NK and his Bus driver role (no evidence it was that but off the top of my head that one hits two players)
NK was blocked so no evidence but for the 3 targets that night

Really really simple

 

 

Or, more obviously, I was doc protected and mafia shot at me. Occams toothbrush.

I asked DPR if a town thief would get the scum NK if they stole from mafia. He replied no, they do not have one.

 

 

Wow. But in a way, it makes sense thematically. The mystery gang never kills anyone; they just unmask bad guys (wich I guess you can say the lynches are). But this probably means they have a load of other roles.

I believe TAr Monster was bussing this guy all the way. He didn't even flinch after the reveal and rallied for us to lynch Mummy as if there was no reason to even consider the reveal. Like he knew.

 

Scum knew Mummy was done for when Black Knight said he tracked him, they stalled and tried to create trains elsewhere, while coming up with the reveal. Giving the rest of the scum team time to possibly divert the lynch to someone else, and/or bus him. I'd look at those that took my "maybe he was silenced" thing and ran with it. Tar monster knows me, knows I was probably running zeee trapz and knew to avoid it.

 

Now, we've got something to work with. Re-reading D2 should be especially interesting.

There was a ton of resistance to the Black Knight lynch for no good reason even before his reveal. Tracker makes perfect sense as a role for the gang to have thematically speaking. It's not a very powerful in the hands of town and it just blows my mind that we weren't able to secure the lynch on him.

 

I already called this out earlier in the game as a ping, but yeah.... scum ^^^
