Gaming the mod's meta to support a "let's go lynch crazy" agenda is pinging big time. There may be something to what you are advocating, but it needs to be tempered with more of an understanding of the setup. So far, we've seen a bunch of derps make believe they know what they are doing on D1, and basically only pressure 1 - 2 people in a game with what 20+ people in it?

 

Now you want to get lynch crazy and just start cranking them out, without actually putting in the scum hunting work?

So - the biggest weapon town has is lynching. We need to use that weapon as well as possible and as often as possible.

Right now we're doing neither. It's anti-town to suggest that we shouldn't try and take advantage of our weapons. If you can lynch twice a day, you should lynch twice a day.

 

You're right that there isn't enough pressuring. It's the end of D2 and we had two trains total and even those two were messed up because they arrived too late. That's about 1/4th of what we should have had by now.

I feel like I may have as many as 2/3 of my list correct. ]If I need to be lynched for the rest of you herp-a-derps to be able to re-read and see these 3 all shifting momentum at me, then go for it... just don't forget to read back through it and then kill them.

 

Also, to the bold - you are spinning. I never suggested we don't use them, I suggested we learn more about the game dynamic, then use them, rather than using them irresponsibly and without caution. Yes, this was a terribly anti-town statement.

 

The green: it isn't helping. If you're town, make sure you don't get lynched, usually there's much more info on scum lynches, and also there is the fact that lynching scum, well, it kills scum.

 

The blue: fair enough, but there's usually entirely too much caution going on here, not too little. Also with MINER's claim of stealing a Magistrate role, we actually been in a hurry today, but, whatever.

 

 

Meh, keep playing - eventually you'll reach a point where you understand that you sometimes need to die in order to provide the rest of the town the basis they need to execute on your suspect list. When I first started playing, I did everything I could to stay alive as town, and it was always a mess. There is information on all lynches. If taking out one townie helps lead to 1 scum, based on the logic within the numbers game, it's a worthwhile exchange.

 

As for too much caution, I don't really disagree, that said, I want to be sure that multi-speed lynches affords town the benefit, before I follow the guy suggesting it based on DPR moderator meta. 

 

I'm content to wait one more day/night cycle to see more night phase outcomes, before we start ripping into the games numbers with multi lynches.

Heh, they only became my "3 heaviest detractors" after I called them out.

All 3 came to my attention for how they were manipulating and pushing the situations we've come across. Cases have nothing to do with who I think is who, tbh. I'd have called out anyone for the things that caught my attention. 

 

But lay it on as thick as you need to, this is typical defense against me... you can't speak for your actions, you it become a mission of discrediting me, and seeing if you can get me worked up to bury my own case work.

 

I'm gonna bounce for now, this would be a pretty cut and dry situation in most games - but not here with the "play to stay alive" mentality. 

 

In fact, I'm pretty positive you'll slip out of my grasp - as will the other 2 perhaps - simply because people don't read the nuance of play on this site, they take 95% of everything at face value.

And you did not respond to the point made in Zombie's post which summed up our interaction.  The main point is that you and I agree.  My main point, that I would like you to respond to, is this.

 

1) It was stated in thread that anybody voting BK needs to be lynched.  The assumption is, therefore, that BK is town.

2) You stated, in response to me, that nobody thought BK was 100% town.

3) I said that they did, given #1 and that you were incorrect in stating #2. 

 

So, please let me know if you were incorrect or not.

Zombie's post didn't sum up our interaction. Our interaction began when I voted you for your D1 goading. The questions and statements you are asking about are trivial, you are pursuing getting me to admit I wrongly stated that "nobody things BK is 100% town"? Really? 

 

Whoever said "anyone voting BK should be lynched" had their own purpose, you'll have to ask them about that. I think it's pretty clear-cut that unless we are seeing a coroner report that Black Knight is town, that nobody should be assuming he's 100% town.

 

So, that being said - I'm not wrong, and you are derailing. I just can't tell whether you are doing it with intent to stifle my casing on you or Ghost, or because your a damn idiot.

@role thieves: You should clarify how your role works before trying to accuse someone based on it. I'm pretty sure that if someone's using their tracker role at night, it can't be stolen from them.

 

@everyone: with multiple magistrates in the game, train speed should be picked up maybe? also I'm going down to the beach again, have a nice day

 

Let's assume for now that TBK is telling the truth. He says MUMMY visited multiple people. How is that even possible?

This pinged too. aside from obviously trying to start a speed lynch on the weekend, maybe trying fill the no-talky vacuum with game info? those with knowledge of the theft should hold it tight - we don't know if the mafia do or do not have that ability right now. Best play it safe, yes?
