The Memories are also an Easter egg for resourceful fans. Obviously people who have read the book can discuss them here, but for fans who would just like to know a little more about them, you can find the page numbers where they appear, if you know where to look. If you don't like this sort of game, then don't play; keep in mind people have apparently been banned for complaining about such things. (Along the lines of the don't-demand-spoilers rule.)

Though, to be clear, this is a full spoiler thread unlike the chapters thread. People with the book may discuss it in as great a detail as they desire (or as little, in truth, as Terez has chosen to do).

People without the book, as always on this board, are guests who will be unfailingly polite, thankful for whatever they are given, demanding of nothing and may the Light help the fool who throws a hissy fit.

Have fun.

Like I said. :p I never said anyone couldn't, not here, and not in the other thread.

I find, in retrospect, that they've been very clever with this. They surprisingly picked several quotes from key moments, but devoid of context. I found myself enjoying how several of these popped up at somewhat unexpected moments. Cadsuane's was particularly well done, I felt, as was the one about the bond. The column of Light, and the farewell till the next dream are my favorite, because they were key moments.

Alannah's passing of her coveted Bond to Nynaeve was one of the most beautiful moments of this book. I wept openly thinking that the four women who shared his Bond were four ofthe most wonderful women in the world... Min, Elayne, Avienda, and most especially, Nynaeve, who's unconditional, overarching, and utterly trustful love for Rand, and the other boys, always brought me to tears when she committed herself, and allowed herself to get out of her skin.

The cleansing of the Saidin taint 'With The Choedan Kal' had me in racking sobs through the entirety.  Her sacrifices, and unbarred leaps of pure love, and Faith in Rand always shook me up. Nynaeve was always such a tight prude in so many things. When she allowed herself these moments of utter vulnerability... well... I was just a wet-faced fool for every one of them.
