Mal let off another round at the Admiral and missed. Cursing he reloaded his pistol. "Wash! How are you doing?", he called out. "I've seen better days, captain", Wash replied. Just then Badger and Jubal caught him in a crossfire. Wash's body jumped and spun from the impact of the bullets. They were gone before Mal had finished reloading and he was left staring at the lifeless body of his friend.

Jubal Early ran up the stairs as Badger and the Admiral laid down cover fire. As he reached the landing an opportunity presented itself and he took the shot. The top of Kaylee's head disappeared in a red mist.

 

Arlow, Kaylee Frye, Vanilla Townie, has been killed.

 

 

Mal looked around at his dead friends and tried to form a plan, but he knew this was the end. Gathering Simon and River to him, he told them that a frontal assault was the only way they were going to survive. On the count of three, they leaped up from behind the crates and sprayed lead at their attackers. Except for Mal. Mal purposely aimed at the controls for the air lock, hoping to short out the docking mechanism and sent everyone into the abyss. He wasn't fast enough. Badger saw what Mal was trying to do and emptied his pistol into mal torso. Mal went down without a sound.

 

 

Phelix, Malcolm Reynolds, Finder, has been killed.

 

Simon, having never held a gun before in his life, managed to hit everything except his adversaries before being taken down by a bullet from Admiral Denton.

 

 

Csarmi, Simon Tam, Doctor, has been killed

 

River looked at the gun in her hand and smiled. Just as she stepped out to deal death to the invaders, Jubal Eary pushed a crate from the landing to land one her head, killing her instantly.

I gave the RND 50% to protect Arlow (was ny guess for the 4th innocent) and 1/6 each to protect me, Phelix and Tynaal.

Too bad I didn't roll a '2' on my first try. (did a roll to determine if its Arlow or us, then another roll to decide between us).

 

Do we get to see the scum board?

Did you do it random, or went for Arlow because he's the unknown Townie? My first instinct was you'd try it and I was like almost sure Arlow would be that one, but then I thought you'd just roll and enjoy the 75% chance to win.

 

So I figured you wouldn't dare try play WINE and thus I didn't do it either.

 

Got us 50% to live. Make it 45% cause I'm not 100% sure what I'd have done if I rolled 'protect the unknown'. Might have hesitated on it being Arlow.
