Greetings Dragonmount community...

I picked up Wheel of Time in 2003, at the urging of a friend who said "You liked Lord of the Rings, you might like this" and tossed me TEOTW. I read straight through WH, then faithfuly purchased CofT, KofD, and TGS. In the meantime, I have discovered the excelent re-read on Tor.com (thanks Auntie Liegh!). The re-read has truly caused me to refect on how important these books and characters have become to me. I still never really viewed myself as someone who joined things like this community.

With the release of TofM and my reaction to it, I realize I really, really, REALLY am one of you. *creepy background voices start chanting "one of us, one of us"* When Wednesday came and went without my copy, I was reduced to looking over at my other half and blurting out "Towers of Midnight" in an anguished voice. It wasn't pretty.

Sooooo, I want to be a part of this community as we gear up for the last book/battle. Reading Wheel of Time again and again over the years always makes me reflect back on where I was and who I was when I picked up each book for the first time, and how far I've come since that time or place. And unlike some of the other things that surrounded me when my friend tossed me TEOTW seven years ago, WoT remains.

oh and maybe you should save the ToM spoiler info for the spoiler thread, I did not finish the book and others who read your intro might not have either and was unaware of an Olver POV hahaha
