You would think the ebook would be easier and more readily available considering everything is written on computer now and then printed. Whats the bonus of owning a kindle if you have to wait an unrealistic amount of time after the book is released before you can get it? I love my kindle, but it looks like my real book collection will just have to keep growing. IM RUNNING OUT OF ROOM!! WHY DO YOU THINK I BOUGHT A KINDLE?

LOL

Glad I pre-ordered the physical copy with release date delivery. I'd rather have a hardcover copy anyways, especially the first edition :)

I guess they needed more time for someone to make an e-book cover as awesome as the ebook covers for the rest of the series.

Why are you blaming Amazon? It's not like they have any control over whether the publisher allows any given book to released in digital format, any more than they decide when the dead tree edition becomes available. You really think they don't want what is sure to be a massively popular title available for their own device?

Why put something up for sale before you have the official release date confirmed by Tor? Instead, you can get a million people to purchase it then change the release date by just short of a year... Seriously, its like me selling you a flying car. It'll come out eventually, and i will just keep sending you emails pushing the sale date back. By your reasoning, it wouldn't be my fault that you never get one, it would be Ford's...

Bad analogy: you're ordering from a retailer, not the publisher. Amazon does not map to Ford here. That'd be Macmillan. In any case, I assume they put it up for sale because, well, they thought it'd be available. You can be as mad at Amazon as you like, but it just seems misdirected. They still have no control over when the digital version is released, so your ire would be better aimed at the ones who do. And I also didn't say don't cancel your order, which, going by the weird flying car analogy, you seem to think I did. If I'd meant that, I'd have said so.
