Hello all,

 

A dude down the hall from me during my freshman year in University made me read The Eye of the World and I became hooked instantly. That was in 1995. Currently I am living in Japan. Last year when The Gathering Storm was set to be released I dutifully pre-ordered it on Amazon. On the release day, there had been some kind of SNAFU and the book wouldn't get to me for about a month. So I scoured the bookstores all over the chiba-tokyo area till I found one about an hour away from where I lived. That was when I admitted that I have a slight addiction to the series.

Welcome to the forums! They were just completely remodeled yesterday so expect a little bit of scurrying from everyone. However if you need anything don't be afraid to ask. There are a ton of WoT addicts here and some are really involved with the late Robert Jordan, B. Sanderson, Hariett, and all the WoT folks. Heck they are the WoT folks. So make yourself comfortable. There is a ton to do on this site from talk about the books, to just messing around and playing in general, to role playing in the WoT world.

 

I'll let the real welcomers do a much better job than I, but for the meantime enjoy the trailer made for the new Towers of Midnight book release...

Joke...and perkiness aside I hope you've found everything, since this DM is supposed to be easier to navigate.
