rands temper

anyone else especially enjoy reading the parts where rand blows his top at people, throws them out, coldly threatens to kill them.... think i may have a problem.

The thing is, when seen from his perspective the way he behaves is all perfectly understandable except for books 11 and the first half of 12 (what I've read)he goes a little over the top there.

Agreed. I tend to have feel a little satisfied when Rand gets angry at people. His agry moments tend to be my favorites. And no, I don't think that it's a creepy way to feel.

 

Like talligan said,it's understandable. I mean,all things considered, Rand takes a lot of crap on all sides. The poor guy can't seem to catch a break.  :-\ Either people on his side wildly misunderstand everything he does, or people who aren't on his side don't seem to get that he's trying to sacrifice himself to save their ungrateful hind ends. If I were Rand I'd probably be homicidal by now.

 

So when he flips his lid, I feel sort of...proud. Maybe that is a little off. ???

His anger is okay, but has anyone concidered, especially during books 5-9, that hes a tad bit bi-polar? Could this be the madness creeeping in?
